Melanie is a great photographer and an amazing person to work with. She is kind, energetic and very professional, I would highly recommend her for business. I had a very last-minute request for my daughter's first birthday party, and we are so happy that she could accommodate us. We booked her for a 30-minute session and were amazed by her management skills and how many great poses she could capture. She is simply a pro in handling babies and knows how to get their attention. Before the party, I discussed the project with her on phone, and signed up an online form with details. I also discussed some test photos with her on how the set up will be, the number of people, the type of photos I am expecting, the timing and other details before the actual photoshoot. She helped me with all that. After the photoshoot, we received an email with proofs from which we could select a few photos for detailed editing. The proofs itself were so good, we thought those are the final ones. My friends and family are so happy to have worked with Melanie. Melanie is an incredible photographer! We were so blessed to have her take our photos in March 2023. She helped with poses and choosing the perfect location. She also took photos that showcased mine and my husband's very different personalities. When we received the proofs we were so excited to see her work. I can't wait to display these photos in my home. Her website is easy to use as well. She will send an email when the proofs are ready and the client can look a their photos on the website and choose their favorites. She is kind, professional and truly cares for each client. She was well prepared and had thought out a lot of details before we even started. She scouted out specific locations and already considered what the background of pictures would look like given it is a busy park. This made the time we had move very smoothly. She was very professional, and did a fantastic job with our one year old. Melanie uses her professional opinion, but also includes us to make sure we have a voice. We've used Melanie for our family photos twice over the past couple years and I've been very happy with the results! She puts a lot of work into making the experience as smooth as possible, which is no small feat when there are little ones involved. She has been very open to my ideas and has great ideas of her own to offer. I've had the pleasure of working with Melanie for a few years now and I can personally say she is very professional and she has found her calling in photography. She has shot pictures of our family twice so far and we plan to keep asking her for more. We first asked her to take the photos of our daughters first birthday and Melanie went above and beyond. She arrived early to capture the details. She was completely professional with our friends and family. She stayed later than planned to be sure she captured everything. And I know she had to have edited our photos for hours. The turn around time was fast and we were so happy with the outcome. We received tons of candid photos as well as a photo with each group of family and friends that attended. The photos were great and we are so happy we had the memories captured by Melanie.We were so happy with the outcome of the birthday party photos that we asked Melanie to take our first family photos with our daughter. And once again, Melanie was great! She arrived early, scoped out the best spots, had props based on our session's "theme," she was patient with our one year old and two dogs, she shot so many photos and they turned out better then I could have imagined.
