The veterinarians at this facility have always given all of our pets the best care, we have been bringing our pets here for at least 15 years. The staff is also very realistic in what treatment options are worth pursuing for you pets. As much as we love our pets, I have seen so many vets take advantage of my parents pursuing any form of treatment to help their pets only to get a call after all these unnecessary things were done to be told the animal was dying (from old age). I also feel as though this animal hospital does everything they can to keep costs low for the owners; a lot of people that I know pay a lot more than I do for the same services at different places around Martin County. Dr. Ries & her staff are superior in everything they do. She is astounding in her vast experience & accumulated knowledge in all areas of animal Care, & definitely NOT just a cat/dog vet. She has expertise with all breeds of everything, lol. And she believes in taking care of the "whole" animal - not just giving you a scrip & off you go, she & staff are always making sure to cover every issue you or your animal might exhibit, ALL kinds of possible treatments, & most importantly - she is a fair, good person. Savannah Animal care does NOT gouge you in pricing or try to get you to do anything you can't do. I personally have gone there for over 5 years, have had around 10 different vets in my life & I firmly believe that people should be very aware of what THEY can personally handle having animals - it is your responsibility to make sure you know what you are doing when you adopt or become a pet owner. They are like humans in many of their needs & this can be costly & take time, in most cases. We rescued some rabbits and the past week have had an emergency and they were the only vet around that would see exotics and had availability. Twice now i was fit in between appts and cared for like we were family. I thought the front desk staff was wonderful as well as all of the techs. And we absolutely love Dr. Reis! Took my tiny kitten here when she had an upset tummy after adoption and I was concerned about worms or parasites. This Dr Really Cares About The Animals. Obviously Isn't In It For The Money She Charges 1/3 Of Any Other Animal Hospital In The Area.
