My husbands' birthday is coming up and I wanted to do something special for him. Being 7 and a half months pregnant, I had a hard time figuring out what to do for him - when it finally clicked in my pregnancy addled brain, I knew Sasha was the perfect photographer to help! I wanted to do a maternity boudoir photo shoot, sexy but classy. Fun but sultry. After figuring out the logistics and making the arrangements, I couldn't decide what to wear - the baby bump makes things for differently and I had no idea which would photograph best - so I packed it all! Long lace gowns, short negligees, sheer flowy maternity dresses. Sasha took the time to go through each choice with me and help decide what would work best and be the most flattering. During the shoot, Sasha kept everything fun and light hearted, while being her awesome self! She had lots of ideas on posing that would highlight my being pregnant & still look sexy and classy on camera. Fast forward to the photo reveal... the photos are PHENOMENAL! I seriously cannot stop staring at them. Sasha & her magic camera made me look & feel so beautiful (which is hard to do when I feel like a whale most of the time!) - I can't wait to show my husband these photos and see his reaction! Where do I even begin? When I first started to look for a wedding photographer, I was completely overwhelmed. Sasha made me feel perfectly at ease! During our first meeting, I loved that she took the time to get to know my fiance and I, and really seemed interested in what we were looking for. Her silly questionnaire set her apart from the rest of the photographers that we had met with. Most of the others talked about what they had to offer and hardly asked anything about us. Sasha was very personable and I felt an instant connection with her! Her bubbly personality is just contagious! We were lucky enough to have Sasha photograph our engagement and wedding pictures and it was the best decision we made for our big day! So soooo talented! It is hard to put into words just how amazing of an experience my husband and I had working with Sasha and Garrett. They are the absolute best! ! I found Sasha on the Knot and after meeting her at her studio, I knew I HAD to have her document my wedding. It felt like I was meeting with an old friend. She is so sweet, down-to-earth, professional, and obviously passionate about what she does. Her work speaks for itself, but after our engagement session, I was absolutely blown away by the creative artistry and quality of her work. I felt so comfortable during the shoot and the photos looked so natural...she truly captured our relationship. Our wedding was on 8/13/16 at Armstrong Farms. Sasha was beyond wonderful and I have already recommended her! She has a genuine love for people and what she does and her contagious, beautiful energy will make you feel like the most beautiful, special bride. You will feel stunning the entire time and seeing the reveal of all the photos is overwhelming in the most wonderful way. There are not enough stars, words or love for Sasha. Before I even met Sasha I KNEW we had to have her as our photographer based solely on our email exchanges and her portfolio. I was originally only looking for a Pittsburgh based photographer for our engagement session (as we live almost 4 hours outside of Pitt), but after meeting Sasha I couldn't imagine having anyone else for our wedding day as well! Sasha dedicated her time to volunteer for my wedding through Jamies Dream Team a nonprofit who makes dreams come true for people with illnesses. Only 2 weeks before my wedding, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sasha without question decided to shoot my wedding and make all my dreams come true. From throwing me a bachelorette party and allowing me to enter her studio, bring drinks and snacks and take amazing glamour shots with my sisters, to having me come to the studio for glamour shots of me in my dress. I don’t know where to begin with my experience with Sasha and I am just at the beginning of the journey!
I saw Sasha’s work on various sites and just knew I HAD to have her as my wedding photographer. Other than my venue she was the first vendor I booked because I was so in love with her work.
We just received our engagement photos and I am more in love with the, than I ever thought possible! Sasha is an absolutely phenomenal photographer, artist, and person all around! She actually fell into my life as I already had another wedding photographer booked for my wedding planned for 2016. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in early October and Sasha generously donated her services to make my wedding nothing short of completely magical! It all began with a meeting in her adorable, shabby chic, brick exposed studio! There was never a single moment that I felt even a tiny bit uncomfortable in her presence. From the inside out, Sasha shines of creativity and more importantly love for life! She goes out of her way to make dreams come true!

Because I was planning a whole wedding in two weeks and it was near impossible to plan a bachelorette party, Sasha took it upon herself to invite my sisters and I to a private photoshoot. She brought snacks, we provided mamosa's and she truly made it an absolutely fabulous day!

I also had the opportunity for Sasha to shoot boudoir and glamour shots of me in my dress! To Sasha it was so much more than just another photoshoot! She had a local florist donate live flowers and her talented eye for beauty shined through as she posed my body to look stunning! Not once, even fully nude as I was wrapped in vines was I nervous in front of the camera! All of my portraits are absolutely stunning... And All because of Sasha's kind heart and generosity, i will forever have these memories to be cherished!

Where do I even begin? My engagement to my now husband was very challenging as he is in the Army and we were unable to be together the 10 months before our wedding. Because of the separation and the distance, it was difficult for us to schedule an engagement shoot. Despite the difficulty of our schedules, Sasha went out of her way to take our engagement pictures 3 days before our wedding. It had been 5 months since my fiance and I had seen each other. We shot our incredibly romantic engagement photos in the Shady Side of Pittsburgh and it was an evening full of romance and laughter. The photos, no surprise, ended up being beautiful.

My fiance and I had the most fabulous evening with Sasha while shooting out engagement pictures. Her artistic eye and attention to detail and natural beauty allows her to view the world with a beautiful perspective. Sasha recently did our engagement photos and we have her booked to photograph our wedding coming up next October. I've never had my picture taken professionally and was afraid of them looking too staged or awkward. Sasha truly has an eye and passion when it comes to fun and natural photographs.
