I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a fitness trainer who takes a holistic approach to fitness and wellness. I came to her riddled with injuries from overuse and poor form, and was also battling weight gain due to perimenopause. Sarah navigated every challenge thoughtfully, researching new techniques and mapping out a strategy specific to my goals. In fact, I have never been able to complete the simple act of a squat due to knee surgery. Sarah would not rest until she figured out the mechanics that would get me there, even asking other experts for input. Today, I can get beyond a 90-degree angle which I never dreamt was possible!

Since working with Sarah, I've noticed a significant improvement in my range of motion, flexibility, and strength. She has also helped me to develop a deeper understanding of my body and how to move in a way that is both safe and efficient. And, while Sarah’s workouts are challenging, the time flies because I enjoy her company so much. She’s patient, encouraging, and radiates positivity. I am so grateful for her - she has helped me return to the beast I used to be but this time stronger, healthier, and pain-free. Thanks to her, I can do five, pain-free unassisted pull ups at age 48; something I haven’t accomplished in over a decade!

Sarah has been my trainer for over a year now and I can truthfully say that I love weightlifting because of her. I never thought that weightlifting and training in a gym were activities I would be interested in. As I have continued to train with Sarah our time together has become integral to my physical and more importantly my mental health.

I look forward to my twice weekly training more that I could have believed when I started. I am facing fears and learning to trust the strength of my body. I teach and practice yoga and my goals in training are to gain strength in my upper body for arm balancing (such as handstands/arm balancing), knee health and safety and to recondition after a global pandemic.

I feel proud of how far I've come and I know I've made such large strides because Sarah sees my potential. Sarah always thinks I'm stronger than I do and cheers me on to my personal best in sets, weightlifted or simply to finish our session with cardio on the awful 'Assault Fitness' bike. I can hear her now as I write this, "Let's get that heart rate up! Well, you get that heart rate up, I'm chilling"

I will proudly show off my ability to do 10 clean push ups. I am appreciating the strength in my body and the way my clothing fits. Sarah adjusts my goals and the training plans that she creates for me based on the physical goals she asks me to set. Right now I am working towards 'arm balance from a wide legged forward fold' ... right now it seems impossible but so much has seemed impossible with Sarah before that I can do now. I trust that she'll get me there.

Sarah is intelligent about the human body and how to train people for their individual needs. She is dedicated, compassionate, holds you accountable, is fun and is forever a student sharing with me something she read, watched or went to the effort to look up. I am grateful for all our work together and look forward to training in the future!

Sarah is an outstanding personal trainer and yoga teacher! I started by taking her yoga classes over 2.5 years ago and was hooked! I signed up for Sarah’s 3-month, 1:1 personal training course. Every client will be different, but I will stick to the foundational exercises that athletes, gymnasts, and even dancers abide to while not practicing their craft.

Being consistent, finding an active hobby that brings you joy, balance in nutrition, and being kind to yourself.

I really like getting to know people and seeing their confidence boost even after a few weeks of training.

I really wanted to create something for myself, and I wanted to see how I would fare in the challenge of starting a business. I also felt like I had more to offer than your typical trainer in a big box gym, and I wanted to be able to express that.

I have more to offer than your typical big box gym trainer. I am trained in mobility and stretch training, yoga, and I am a jiu jitsu (amateur) athlete. I am aware that everyone wants to look better and feel better, but I show my clients that there is more to exercise than obtaining a "better body." Moving our bodies can help us get to know ourselves at a deeper level if we let it!

Yes I can provide remote training.
I either do programming for clients, with them sending me their form over a messaging app and me giving feedback, or I do programming AND virtual training.

Personal training is just that: personal. Although there are tried and true ways for most people to train, the way I workout, is not going to be the best way for YOU to workout.
I aim to not only give my clients a great workout, but also to educate them on weight training, stretching, and mobility modalities.

I offer yoga teaching (poses), in addition to breathwork, meditation, and more.
