We do not offer full service catering and in most cases I would come to your home or the place of the event and work with your facility so as to keep the event personalized.

After a bunch of disappointing dining experiences in OC this week, we tried DaVinci's at the boardwalk and 15th St, and it was fantastic! Â In fact, it was so good last night that we went again tonight. Â Amazing Chicken Francaise, excellent Chicken Parmigiana, fantastic Gamberi Marinara, outstanding house salad, fresh bread, and incredible service! Â I'm really surprised at the overall 3-star rating. Â To me (and my wife), this is not only a 5-star restaurant, it's one of the best fine dining experiences we've had in a long time. Â The atmosphere is just okay, and it's a little tucked out of the way, with 3 entrances, but both nights, they were well staffed with very professional servers. This was quiet a surprise. We were staying in the hotel above the restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did. Had the chicken parm, lobster ravioli, and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. The only bad thing I can say was there was a group of kids behind us that were really giving the servers a hard time and it put a kink in an otherwise relaxing dinner. We went to OCMD for 4 years a in a row for vacation and couldn't resist DaVinci's from the moment we walked by and smelled the deliciousness. We have never had a disappointing meal.The servers have been pretty good as well for being hired in help for the summer. Some aren't familiar with the food because they are from other countries. That doesn't change the food or service at all. I love just getting the unlimited salad and bread for a meal if I've spent my day laying in the sun and I just don't want a heavy meal. They have fresh specials in addition to their regular menu. Steaks, pasta, seafood. All are very good. FABULOUS! I never ever give five stars but this is an exception! Everything here is made from scratch and of high quality ingredients. The Alfredo sauce is to die for. The calamari app is another huge hit. Even the simple spaghetti and meatball is probably the best I've ever had. The salad is like none other...almost like a coleslaw salad hybrid. Eggplant parm was really good. Fresh and not frozen. First time ever eating here and came during  Happy Hour. Our server Ivan was not very friendly but overall our experience eating was good. I will be back.

What’s your signature dish?
We specialize in Italian but one of my personal favorites is braised lamb shank with Chianti reduction.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I work directly with the client to determine what their goals are with regard to flavor, dietary needs and the overall atmosphere the would like for the event. The food can truly set the stage.
What do you love most about your job?
I grew up in the restaurant business my father taught me how to cook in a commercial kitchen standing at 6yo standing on an upside down milk crate so I could reach the stove. Food and cooking are my creative outlet and I truly like helping people cater smaller events in their homes and seeing them be able to relax and enjoy their guests.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm educated knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I have over 30 years experience as well as some formal training at The Culinary Institute of America.
