What makes a great website?
A great website is one that is engaging, creative and intuitive. It must be "visually" enticing using professional photography, excellent graphics, and "begs" return visits. A website is a companies portal to the world, so it's the first impression. First impressions are obviously very important.
Excellent websites are a refection of the "personality" of the company it represents. It should be consistent with the companies brand and have a memorable logo.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
"Who is your "TARGET CLIENT?" (age, salary range, location, sex, etc...)
"What is the message you would like your website to convey?"
"As a new business, what is your BRAND, your consistent style? A consistent style, colors, logo, PERSONALITY are all your BRAND. If you need help with branding and a logo, I can help to create these."
"Because we now live in a social media world, it is important to use these platforms as tools for your company. Making a FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER and GOOGLE pages are definite pluses and spreads your company name.. These are are the primary social sites most websites should have links to. Having perpetual posts with great graphics and photography will enable potential clients to take a peek into your personality and style. Posts can be set up with future release dates which I can include if you don't yet have these. "

What do you love most about your job?
DESIGN! CREATING and using my love of photography to enhance my design. I enjoy helping businesses and solving problems by creating necessary functions that some business owners may not know can be incorporated into their site.
I get to meet and work with people. I enjoy researching a business to understand it. How could I make an enticing website for a business without understanding what is important to their customers?
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a creative person which is why I love photography. Having my own business removes the boundaries and enables me to design without limits.
Working with people and helping people succeed is very rewarding!

Websites can make life MUCH EASIER and ALWAYS tells potential customers "LOOK! My business is REAL and "up-to-date"." My experience as a wedding photographer has really helped me to understand the importance of developing a "relaxed" relationship to produce photography consistent with the couples taste. A relaxed but professional relationship results in much better communication. Communication, even for my wedding clients, has been the key to great results with photography. My goal is COMMUNICATION because communication is the only path to understanding and developing a website that not only meets the companies FUNCTIONAL needs, but also is a wonderful perpetual advertisement. Changing up a website every couple of months, with new graphics and photography that is consistent with their brand, makes the site more exciting. to visit and shows that the company can easily adapt.
