I used Rudy for a family reunion group photo shoot and he was very timely and professional. RUDY ROCKS!
I decided to enter my artwork in a juried exhibition at the Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland. My concept was acrylic on Plexiglas mounted to an oil painting on canvas to give a 3-D effect. When I tried to take photographs to send to the Strathmore, I was getting flashbacks and reflections due to the Plexiglas. I decided I needed a professional photographer. An internet search pointed me to Rudy Matthews. I met with Rudy at his studio and he was positive that he would be able to take the photographs with no problem. The Strathmore jurors are very specific on the submission of images and Rudy was able to comply with their requirements. This was definitely our best photo shoot ever! Our photographer, Rudy, was very professional. Apart from being punctual to the exquisite shoot venue he meticulously chose for this exercise, he paid attention to every detail, exemplifying all the entrepreneurial attributes of one who is both profoundly passionate and knowledgeable about his work. Little wonder, the pictures came out so good. In fact, the shots are so delightsome they will easily make the front page of Vogue magazine (Not kidding). Rudy Matthews is an artist who will make your beautiful family look like models for a magazine. We are a family with two wild boys, a tortoise, a dog…just plain old craziness. He impressed my critical husband who did not understand why we needed in-house photos and has made photography a hobby. He impressed my critical self that loves a good deal by spending so much time with us – the equipment that he brought into our house was beyond what I have seen in department store, school/corporate, and so many photo shoots.Moreover, he follows up – are you happy?
