We would absolutely highly recommend Rover Oaks to any dog parent. Lily has been going here since she was a puppy and she loves going to daycare at River Oaks. Our 2 pups stayed at Rover Oaks Houston for the first time a few weeks ago. They are a bit challenging (both young and don’t like change), but the staff at Rover Oaks did a fantastic job! They were patient and understanding, and very very communicative. I was in touch with them every day getting daily updates and photos (a few are attached as an example). I loved that they also have the luxury suites, which feel like less of a traditional kennel. This definitely helped my pups to adjust better and have a more positive experience. The Katy Rover Oaks facility is wonderful. Trainer Montreal Lewis did an excellent job with our Blue Heeler puppy. In addition to training our pup, he taught us how to reinforce the learning and offered help with any pet home issues. We have also used Katy Rover Oaks for boarding, day care, and grooming with our other pets. My pets always come home happy! More...

We use Rover Oaks Grooming to groom our 2 year old toy Aussie, Shiro. Shiro is deaf and very shy. But from the very first visit I knew Rover Oaks would be a good place for him. The groomer took time to go over with us how we wanted Shiro groomed as well as giving us their recommendations. Several hours later Shiro returned to us beautifully groomed with a cute report card telling us how he did! Lastly, I just love the front office managers they know literally every dog that walked in there by heart and took an instant liking to Shiro. 10 years ago we adopted a very shy young dog “Stella” !with a difficult past. I wasn’t sure we could make it. We were given hope when we enrolled in a Rover Oaks obedience class. It got even better when she started large dog Doggie Day Care. Now Stella truly has a home away from home. The facilities are immaculate and the staff is unparalleled. Both of my boys (Axle - 100 pounds and Nico - 70 pounds) have been going to Rover Oaks on West Bellfort since we got them two years ago. They go to daycare every week, and they just love it. They get so excited when we get close to Rover Oaks that they start howling and jumping around in the car. Of course, we have them in seat belt clips in the car, but they get so excited that they just can't contain it! The staff at Rover Oaks are always happy to see our boys when we get there, and they tell us anything that happened each time we pick them up. When we leave town for vacation, we don't worry, because we know that Rover Oaks will take superior care of our guys. They stay in the Luxury Suites, and are pampered and spoiled rotten while we're away. Additionally, the Yorkie we had (she passed away before we got the two big boys) went there as well, and she just loved everybody at Rover Oaks. Superior staff and superior care for our pets. This place is amazing. We just had a baby and dropped off our lab for training. After two weeks, he  has come home and the results are incredible. He responds to verbal cues, does not jump up anymore and has learned to stay in place for up to 30 minutes at a time. Justin was our trainer and is the real dog whisperer. The groomers at Rover Oaks West Bellfort location are very good! We have a white standard poodle and I believe being able to properly groom a poodle is a litmus test of a very good groomer because grooming poodles is alot of work and you have to be precise when cutting their hair. wow!!! is what I can say!! we take our 3 dogs to the Houston location doggie daycare once a week and they love it! the staff -everyone from the groomers to the front desk to the doggie daycare counselors to overnight lodging they are a group of just awesome people! ! they genuinely care about the pets and their hoomans! one of our rescue dogs had trust issues. they actually created a program for him and worked with him until he was ready to be in doggie daycare..they NEVEr gave up on him!!we are forever grateful to Eliliot Michael and the rest of the staff for that!! i recommend Rover Oaks to anyone looking for any pet need!! We have been using Rover Oaks for boarding and grooming for several years and have always had an exceptional experience!  It's easy to see how much they love animals!  When we walk in the door to drop off our babies we are always greeted with a smile and they always say hello to our "girls" as they call them:)  They are very well organized and they always make sure they have the latest health/feeding/playtime and contact information so they will know how to best care for our babies.  When we return to pick them up its very obvious our girls are happy and have enjoyed their stay with their "friends".  Rover Oaks truly makes us feel like family! I’m so happy that I decided to send my dog Ace to Rover Oaks Puppy Playschool. Montreal and Kateline did an amazing job! Ace has improved so much in the past 2 weeks, he’s almost like a different pup. I can’t get over how much he has learned and how well he understands all of the commands taught to him. Montreal has been wonderful with Ace and was extremely patient with my kids during our family training session. I am very happy to recommend Montreal and the team at Rover Oaks. We enrolled our 4 month goldendoodle Pancho to the 2 week puppy play school and we're so incredibly happy with our decision! We worked on basic training stuff at home but there were things we knew we needed help on. We're amazed how fast our puppy's behavior has changed. He pays attention to our commands at home, his recall has improved significantly even with distractions, he walks so much better on the leash and has learned how to play with other dogs. We're extremely grateful for all the hard work Montreal, Pancho's trainer, has done these past two weeks! I know he has definitely bonded with our guy and that's extremely important to us. We did Lodge and Learn with Jim. Our 6 month old Labrador Retriever went in as a stubborn, defiant, temper tantrum child and came back home as a calm and obedient fur-ball of fun. He didn't loose his playfulness, but learn to be calm and listen when needed. It is like night and day. He didn't have just basic obedience training, but also behavior redirection training. I was wary about the cost since this was our first puppy, but if you plan on having your dog for the next 10-15 years this was well worth the money to get that perfect dog. Ask for Jim. He was patience and understanding with all our questions and was accessible when we had questions later after we left. More...

My dog Harvey did the day training at Rover oaks for 3 weeks. Jim did an awesome job with my dog. Harvey is terrified of people, or should I say was. After just an hour session my dog was comfortable around him (which is unheard of). He truly cared for my dog and did a great job of keeping me updated on how harvey was doing each day. If you want your dog to be trained here, I 100% recommend Jim! My dog has come such a long way and is still making process, and it's all thanks to him! More...

Everything was good my dog was definitely taken care of only left him for one night. Only reason I won't give them 5 stars is because I emailed twice and called bunch of times and I got no response, phone I understand bec they were probably busy but figured email would be different, also I gave them vitamins for my dog to have with with food in morning and they forgot so two simple things weren't done.

lots of fun, rather stress free, get used to loud noises if you're working in the bunkhouse. the coolest job is daycare counselor and after a while it feels like the coworkers become family. very good vibes. the only downside is that there's no vacation time earned until a year after you work there.Pros you get to work with dogs all day, and sometimes the clients will buy us lunch or ice creamCons not a flexible schedule at all.
