Roof and Realm

As a realtor, I have defined ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) many times and I'm going to explain it here. ADU definition: a smaller, independent residential dwelling unit located on the same lot as a stand-alone single-family home. AKA it's a pre-fabricated tiny home you can build in your backyard as long as it's on your property. ADU's are all the rage right now and if you have the space on your property it makes perfect sense! We're all stuck at home during a pandemic and who doesn't want to build another unit on their property if they have the option? It can be a studio, 1-2 bedroom unit, home office, gym, or a recreation room. The possibilities are endless. Now that I've explained why you want an ADU, I want to highly recommend Roof and Realm. My parents are at a point where they're too old to maintain their current home and in the past few months have been applying for senior housing which can be quit costly.  We discussed building another smaller home in the backyard for them to live in so they can still enjoy the rest of their retirement without spending too much in housing.I reached out to a few builders in the area that turned out to be too costly and will also need to work with their designer/architect to design a small ADU which will take months before they can even start. Then I came across Roof and Realm and they are great to work with. They already have ADUs designed in different styles to match your home, and will do all the work from initial assessment of your property, permitting and then final build.  They even reached out to my city's planning dept to find out about the setbacks.
