Risney Photo & Design is a full service photography company. The owner/photographer, Anne Risney Morgan has run the business for the past 15 years after she took over the business from her parents. Anne photographs high school seniors, families, corporate head shots and events, sports and groups, children and pets, and does graphic design work for a few select customers.

My daughter had her senior photos today. We both were very worried as rain was in the forecast and it was cloudy out. Anne was able to adjust her schedule for the day to take the most stunning photos. The overcast of the clouds made her photos look GREAT! We both were so happy to have worked with her and Madison. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is making people feel comfortable in front of my camera so I get an authentic expression. This can be either a smile or a calm face but one that looks "real" and not fake.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the end result you are looking for for this photo session? Are you wanting to create a book or have a large print on your wall or just a variety of prints around the house and to gift to people?
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with my clients and making them happy. Taking their photos and seeing them excited about the end result is the number one reason why I do this job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I took the business over from my parents when they passed away. I love taking photos and it seemed like a natural fit for my graphic design background.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because they are going to get someone who truly CARES about making them look great and wanting them to have quality work hanging on their walls or in a book I have created. I'm fun, I'm hones, I'm creative and I love to provide lasting treasures of that special moment in time.
