I specialize in on-location, emotionally impactful portraiture of young families and high school seniors.
I love working with young families because of the spontaneity and originality of each session. I pride myself in being patient with young kids and offer plenty of session time to work with my families so that they are not under pressure to "perform".

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience, kindness, and a little bit of goofy antics to get the smiles going.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want to do with your pictures? What spaces am I photographing for? Do you have any physical limitations I should know about before we select a location(s)? Describe your personal/family personality to me (Serious, goofy, sporty, affectionate, shy, outgoing, formal). Do you have any ideas that you'd like to incorporate?
What do you love most about your job?
The people! I love meeting and working with new people, and my return clients. I love creating happy, emotional moments for them when they view their images.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of the art of photographing people. I love working with individuals and family to get the best representation possible. I don't believe that people are "un-photogenic". I believe that everyone has beauty, and it's all about camera angles and being willing to open and let go of insecurities, and trusting me to bring out that beauty.
