Super clean gym with lots of weights and power racks. Tons of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes to use. I especially love the open training area that can be used when a class isn't in session. Spacious and beautifully kept gym with all the equipment you would ever need. Never crowded or hard to get onto a piece of equipment. Equipment is advanced and up to date. Made the switch from another gym that shall not be named (although you can probably find out who they are when I post a poor review for them, lol) and my experience here has been LOVELY. When it was time to get in shape, my choice was clear Retro Fitness at Lake Howell Branch. The atmosphere was welcoming, staff were happy, knowledgeable, great equipment, atmosphere is lively and great music. From day 1 I not only can feel the results but started seeing changes. The approach to weight loss is not only about exercise/team training, it includes nutrition. The best part is that prior to me starting my journey, I had to do an assessment with their trainer and then a plan was put in place designed for me, which spells success. Of course, child care was key and Retro Fitness at Lake Howell has a beautiful clean spot for my child. There is no room for excuses. Walked in last night after going to 3 gyms looking for the “IT” factor and comfort , lighting is awesome, temperature is great, smells clean, and the dude running the show last night was why I signed. He was attentive and immediately offered me a tour, we connected through the tour as his questions were engaging to my style and needs for fitness, also introduced me to monthly benefits and areas of the gym he enjoyed. His enthusiasm sold me for an immediate sign up, I’m glad to be in a gym 3 mins from home. Amenities are great and I can’t wait to start tonight!!!!! I moved from north Jersey to Florida and workout in retro fitness. I live by a gym that is 2 minutes away but I do not get that enjoyment of wanting to workout. I liked having that spacious room where I can do my own stretching and workouts and not have to be out by the weights. Do you have that at your gym a room where people can stretch and do like a bodyweight program? I like to sign up a few months at a time. I am looking forward to signing up back at a retro :) More...
