Before we began our first major remodel in our house of 26 years, we were speaking with different contractors, designers, and “professionals” for almost 2 years before we had the pleasure of meeting Viktor with Remont Construction. Our first meeting with Viktor was different than any others. He brought new ideas, examples, and really bridged our previously silo’d experiences where construction, design, and architecture didn’t overlap. He also introduced us to Ulle Studios, an amazing design team, that really helped us define and refine our desires and expectations from the project. Viktor and the Remont team brought a patient, flexible, collaborative approach that was a breath of fresh air, we “just knew” that this was the team we wanted to work with! Although we had quite a bit of scope creep, it was OUR decisions, not Remont that drove this. With every change, the Remont team was fully transparent, flexible, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. The end result of the project was everything we dreamed of. Remont stands behind their work, they have some amazing craftsmen who did magic with construction and tile work. We bought our dream lakefront home...but our dream home was just that, a dream, as sadly it was stuck in the 1980s. While we had a vision of what it could become we knew we were going to need a team to bring this dream to reality! We brought in many contractors to give estimates and bids to help us with this work. Though it was clear from the moment we met with Viktor, the owner of Remont Construction, that he was the one to work. Right away he listened to our dreams for the home and was able to bring that to life - in the moment helping sharing how we could truly make this our dream home. “To make it more modern, you have to add modern accents like glossy elements, black metals, and refreshing, clean, paint colors. Reduce the rustic vibe by moving towards a more modern, contemporary style.” From that first meeting everything that was done was done with professionalism and care. Every person who was a part of our project were kind and careful with our home and focused on the details. Remont Construction did an outstanding job on our home remodel and every project. It was clear that they believe in their work that a “home is not just a place to live, it is a foundation for which families create memories and build dreams”. Something we knew Viktor and his team believed as shown in the work that they did each day. During the design phase and throughout each step along the way, Viktor was innovative, patient, and answered all our questions. It’s clear that he truly does believe that people come first and details matter! He found a great balance between letting us be creatively involved and making recommendations when his expertise was needed - Which, we really appreciated. As our project moved to the implementation phase, Viktor’s professionalism and expertise really shined. He ran a tight schedule, anticipated potential issues and managed proactively, and effectively orchestrated all the fine details to ensure our project came to a successful close.Viktor and his team was great to work with throughout - honest, responsive, sensitive to our budget, and committed to delivering a quality outcome that was what we had dreamed of when we first toured our future home. Our home is an extension of us - we live it, breathe it, and find comfort in it. Everywhere we look we find solace in the beauty of our home. We feel so honored to have worked with Viktor as our home wouldn’t be the beauty that it is without him and his team’s expertise!
