They never quit on me, they worked hard to make a program that was a good fit and they made sure that I was actually enjoying myself

The team at Refined Muscles is so knowledgeable, and really care about helping you achieve your goals. Enrico and Nick were incredible getting me set up with my first assessment to help me establish a routine that was achievable in my first few weeks getting back into the swing of working out - they really helped me make the most of my limited equipment and make a workout schedule that worked around having a toddler in the house. When I got pregnant again (yay!) Vincent took over, and really focused on identifying exercises I could do to help stay as active as possible and maintain my mobility and strength gains, fight the inevitable pregnancy fatigue, while also being gentle to my changing body. Sensible nutrition practices are the core for anyone’s health and wellbeing. Many physical health problems that are managed with prescriptions can be fully resolved with dietary changes.

Each of our training relationships starts with learning as much as we can about our clients to allow our team the ability to create a truly customized and personalized training plan to maximize our client’s ability to achieve their fitness goals. We leverage a variety of tools including a background survey, a comprehensive movement assessment, as well as a 1 on 1 meeting to develop a client baseline which our coaches can build upon to drive client progress.

In addition, our coaches place a strong emphasis on maximizing our client’s mobility and movement to empower them to build good training habits. These basics serve as the foundation on which our team can challenge our clients to push towards achieving their fitness goals while minimizing their risk of injury.

Overall, this approach has helped our clients maximize their ability to build consistent training habits which have enabled many of our clients to achieve their on-going fitness goals. In many cases, we have established long-term relationships to allow us to continue to partner together to help navigate life’s challenges, whether it be recovering from injury, balancing long hours in the office, or late nights with a newborn baby.

We love the ability to serve as coaches and problem solvers for our clients to allow them to realize their potential and continually progress to achieve their fitness goals. Each of our clients have unique backgrounds, life circumstances and challenges, which push our coaches to come up with truly customized solutions for our clients.

In addition, each of our coaches have been deeply interested and engaged in the world of fitness, training, and nutrition for much of their respective lives. As a personal training company, we are provided the opportunity to deepen our connection to the health and wellness world through on-going research, certifications, and competitions, while giving us an avenue for us to share these learnings with those looking for guidance on their own journeys.

It’s often said that if you do what you love, then you’ll never work a day in your life. Fitness has been a passion for the coaches of Refined Muscles for the most of their lives, whether in the forms of sport, dance, martial arts, or strength training. Our coaches are certified personal trainers from a variety of accredited training bodies including the NCSF, NASM, NSCA, and ACE. Our team has pursued additional certifications like Stick Mobility, Kettlebell Athletics and Pre/Post-Natal training to continue to add new tools to deploy into our client training programs.

Adaptable - Our lives are constantly changing and evolving, but recent times have made some of the most impactful changes of our lifetimes. We stand closely by our clients to identify a realistic, results-driven training approach based on their environment, equipment, and time. We adapt, and our clients continue moving in the right direction.

Professional - Personal training is a premium service, and we aim to provide value to our clients by providing them with the customized tools and support required to achieve their goals. We strive to develop a strong relationship with our clients to understand how to push them past their limits, and more importantly how to help when they stumble along the way.

Yes - our services can be provided remotely!

For our Bespoke and Touch-Base training packages - We can work with our clients through video calls to conduct our 1-on-1 training sessions.

For our Tailored Training package - Our coaches deliver customized training programs each week to our clients via TrueCoach, an online platform. Through the platform, clients have the ability to chat with our coaching team, as well as upload videos of their sets for our coaches to analyze and provide feedback.

To help keep our customers safe during COVID-19 we have deployed a number of training options:

1) Training Outdoors - Weather permitting, we have worked with a number of our clients to conduct training sessions outdoors.

2) Training in Private Gyms - We have access to private gym spaces to work with our clients without worrying about large crowds.

3) Virtual Sessions - Our team has switched many of their in-person sessions to virtual meetings via Google Hangouts / Zoom.

On-Going Dietitian Access ($59 / month value)

Customized Weekly Workout Plan ($149 / month value) - To allow you to work out and make progress towards your fitness goals on days you don't train with us.
