Formed at the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Karen Ritcher and Juilliard professor Darett Atkins, The Red Rock String Quartet LLC blends top-tier classical training with an enthusiasm for multi-genre and contemporary music performing with today’s top artists such as Kaleo at Red Rocks Amphitheater, with Darren Criss from “Glee”, and for President Obama at the White House!

What do you love most about your job?
As professional symphonic musicians, our team all live rich musical lives where they are exposed to classical and contemporary music at an exceptionally high level!! Performing chamber music as a wedding violinist or event violinist has taken our passion for music from the symphony hall to so many fun adventures across the world. Our team is so very grateful to work with amazing clients, travel, and delve deeper into our love for music!
What inspired you to start your own business?
It is pretty common for musicians to hold chamber music parties — we all gather at someone’s house and read through a ton of awesome music through the duration of the evening ... laughing, sharing, and enjoying our passion outside of work! From these good times Red Rock Strings and the Red Rock String Quartet was formed. Awesome musicians, performing awesome music, as close friends — this sort of bond brings great connection and intrigue to any music!
Why should our clients choose you?
Talent is very difficult to advertise. Many wedding and event string quartets are formed by fabulous people who were not able to win positions in the symphonic world — as winning a job in music is very difficult and takes an extreme amount of practice to become full time professional symphony musician!! Our musicians have full time careers, but love performing chamber music as a passion — this blend of love and talent from our artists brings music to life.
