We stayed at the Rhododendron House on the property and everything was insanely gorgeous!! Perfect space to wake up to the most beautiful sunrises every morning…well stocked and super cozy! ! We picked up a pound of their whole-bean coffee on a recent trip NC at 828 Market, and it INSTANTLY became a house-hold favorite. So, now we order in bulk over the phone, and they send it directly to the house! Seriously - the BEST sumatran I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It's always such a delightful experience ordering, even from over the phone. The staff is always kind, and takes their time with me, which is appreciated. 10/10 stars! Wow! Ian and I just returned from a awesome little trip to Waynesville, NC! I found the Red Leaf River Inn on Google, and it looked like a nice place to spend a couple of days. It more than met our expectations! It’s on a five acre site nestled on a mountain with the sounds of both a river and a creek filling our senses! The owner/chef is Victor, who was warm and welcoming, and kept us enthralled with his stories of how he and his wife turned this run down piece of property into a wonderful bed and breakfast four years ago. Single handedly he restored the entire place, which took two and a half years. He truly is a jack of all trades, and we were simply amazed at all of the furniture he had made. And to top it all off, Victor is a fantastic chef! We opted to have him prepare our meal Tuesday evening instead of going back into Waynesville, and the breakfast was also delicious with everything fresh and homemade! The dining room is so awesome with huge windows overlooking the property! We’re so happy that we discovered this jewel, and we’ll definitely be going back! More...
