What do you love most about your job?
I love learning about people and forming a therapeutic relationship with empathy, safety, and positive regard. I enjoy helping people figure out what they care about and how to have their actions and choices line up with those goals and values. I believe that sometimes reaching the place of making appropriate choices means talking through past trauma and interpersonal dynamics.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I combined my knowledge from 15 years working in publishing and arts, along with the years I've spent working at college counseling centers in order to do this on my own. Working this way allows me freedom to see patients as often as they need and with more one on one attention.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not your average therapist. But I can't sell anyone on that until you meet me. If you are looking for a therapist with a diverse background, a love for psychoanalysis, art, and life experiences, I am certain we will connect.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I provide services both in person and remotely via Telehealth using confidential video via Zoom.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I can meet patients via Telehealth, on the phone, or on confidential video conference. If you want to come in to my office, I have space that allows us to sit far enough apart to create a safe environment.
