Rachel is wonderful! I cannot say enough fantastic things about her. I stumbled across her Facebook page one day and thought to myself "I have got to use her. " Well, shortly after we were expecting our second baby. I reached out to her in regards to a newborn session and from the beginning she was very responsive. Always answered my questions, responded in a timely manor, was honest, and open! Her work is very thorough, detailed, and aims for what you want. We had no idea what to expect for our newborn session, but Rachel made it so easy! She sent us a questionnaire in advance and had a large online portfolio that helped us choose our favorite poses ahead of time. When we arrived the studio was prepared with our favorite backgrounds so as to make the most use of our time. She was wonderful with our baby and had a kind and calming presence. We were impressed with her experience and how she handled our baby. Furthermore, she was great at communicating when questions came up outside of the session times and responded to e-mails very quickly. I would recommend Rachel Mummert Photography to everyone I know! Even as a third time Mom, the anxiety that comes with choosing a newborn photographer and the actual session itself does not get easier. Rachel was the consummate professional- putting all the anxiety to ease just about immediately and capturing excellent shots of my family. I stumbled across this page after weeks of looking for a photographer to help with a special project for my boyfriend, maternity boudoir. In researching a photographer to take our newborn photos, I was recommended to Rachel Mummert by a friend. After looking at the pictures on her website and the pictures from my friend, I knew immediately I had to get Rachel to take the pictures. Rachel was sweet, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. Prior to our session, she asked us to fill out a short questionnaire about our likes and dislikes in order to capture the perfect color scheme and our personal taste. While she took the photos, I could tell she took that questionnaire to heart and had several different setups matching our style. During our newborn session, she took photos of all of us and then went to work capturing amazing shots of our little one. I was impressed at the quick turnaround of our gallery. Rachel was awesome! I told her what I was looking for as a location for our Senior photo shoot and she nailed it. Union Mills Homestead was the perfect setting. Rachel is wonderful! She was very prompt to respond to emails and was very helpful with preparing us for our newborn session. It was evident when we arrived that Rachel took our requests and color scheme into consideration and she executed them well. During our session, Rachel was very professional, patient, and was great with handling our little guy. Overall, we had a great experience! Rachel did an absolutely amazing job with Owen's newborn photos and we enjoyed the whole experience working with her. The setup in her home was perfect and you could really see the mother in her come out in how she handled our son. Rachel was beyond amazing! This is our first baby so we weren't to sure what to expect going into a newborn photoshoot. She had the perfect amount of relaxation and professionalism to make the shoot go flawlessly. We had such an amazing time watching her transform our baby girl and take such cute photos of her that are timeless. Rachel is THE best with our baby girl. She treated her like her own and was 100% professional in her work and how she handled her during each shoot. Rachel was very timely in responding to messages and worked to get us not so prepared parents in to her schedule quickly so we didn't miss an amazing opportunity.
