This is hard because I want to do this right. Leslie is wonderful. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. This means that most touch hurts. A Lot. I had managed, during a hospital stay, to twist my back in a way that made standing upright close to impossible. We talked, she listened, though muscle work and cupping in one session she got me walking upright. The best part was that it didn't hurt. The attention and skill shown had me crying with happiness. I am writing to share my story, and I sincerely hope that it will help anyone who reads it. I have been a cook for going on 12 years, and anyone who has been a cook knows how demanding the job can be, both mentally, and physically. A little over a year ago, I lost most feeling in my legs and hands. In this state, I seriously injured myself due to the fact that I was still working with no feeling in my arms or legs. It was a nightmare to say the least, and a handicap at the very best. Eventually, I had to give up my position, and was at the edge of giving up beaten and broken. The reality of not being able to perform basic tasks, or even walk to another room without fear of falling was all I could think about. I no longer felt pride, I felt shame and embarrassment. Leslie changed all of that for me. I can’t help but be emotional just thinking about it even now. After meeting with Leslie, and explaining my circumstances, she had me come in for a session. After the session had concluded, I almost immediately broke into tears. I could feel my hands, and I realized that I wasn’t broken. I have been going to Leslie at Quality Life Massage Therapy for two hour deep tissue massages over the past several years. She has worked wonders on my neck (I work long hours on a computer) and low back area (have herniated discs)!
