Though I haven't worked with her personally with a baby (still waiting for my first to come), she took pictures for other events, including my wedding. Kayce is so patient, creative and passionate about her work! I love seeing the gems she creates, and the occasional behind-the-scenes photos of how she creates the photos. Kaycee is an awesome artist. I was worried about how my maternity session would go with a camera shy spouse but he loved it so much too. She has a great eye for capturing images in natural light. Plus she has a very good sense of which colors would pop in the pics. She helped me even pick out my outfits. I'm glad I listened to her. All our family and friends loved the pics. Also she's very easy to work with is very flexible. She changed the day for us last minute. I can’t recommend Purple Opal enough. Kayce was so pleasant to work with. After deciding to go with her for my wedding, I asked her if we could do a surprise boudoir shoot as a present for my husband. I was nervous and quite honestly very insecure about my mom body, along with loose areas since losing weight. Kayce put my mind at ease and was aware of every insecurity I had. She was so mindful and made sure to adjust my body and the most flattering positions to ensure we were getting photos that I would be comfortable with. It was so empowering. I feel like I left that shoe with a new found confidence. I felt sexy again—and that’s big for me!

On our wedding day, once again Kayce rose to the occasion. I was a bundle of nerves because my wedding was supposed to be outside but it was raining. Kayce assured me that it would all work out and in the end, she produces the most MAGICAL photos using the rain as a prop. We have gorgeous photos of our reflections in the puddles, cute umbrella pictures and amazing “romance in the rain” photos. I couldn’t be happier. I could go on and on and on with more details on how great my experience with Purple Opal Photography has been. Kayce exemplifies the perfect photographer in every way!! I witnessed her in action at my friend's wedding last year. She was everywhere, she took great shots and I wanted her at my wedding the following year. However I got pregnant and the wedding had to be put on hold. She takes a variety of photos so why not maternity. We met in Salem and I was a little worried about modeling by myself but she made sure to include some shots with my family. At the end of the session I was more comfortable and excited to see the finished product. Not even 24 hours later she had photos for me to see, I was so impressed to say the least.
