Susie is an absolute lifesaver. I have an Australian Shepherd, Jack, who is 8 months. He was aggressive. He actually bit me twice. I was so worried I was going to have to get rid of Jack, which was a constant stressor in my life. I called so many trainers who had outrageous prices or said he was unfixable due to being too old or didn't even call me back. Susie was awesome. She came for the consultation (which was 2 hours by the way!) and I have not had any issues since. Jack is a much happier dog and we are a much happier family. I called Problem Solved Dog Training on the verge of tears. Susie listened patiently while I explained the problems I was experiencing with both of my dogs (ranging from not adjusting to a new baby in the house, to growling at company, to severe leash aggression). After admitting that I fully understood that I was the problem, she recommended that we schedule a consultation. The first visit, both dogs showed their true colors (one growled and the lunged at and tried to chase the neighbor kid on a bike). Luckily Susie knew what to do and sprang into action to form a plan to get both dogs (and me) on the right track.

You would not believe the difference in my dogs now. A year later, we still use the advice Susie provided every single day. Nothing makes me happier than when I can take both dogs for a walk while pushing my daughter in her stroller. I feel so proud of them (and we get complimented on their good behavior every time we are out).

I have known Sue for a long time and she is truly an amazing woman. She is dedicated to what she does and she knows her stuff. She takes the time to get to know you and your dogs; how long you have had them, what types of problems are you having? what have you tried? Etc. and then she tailors the training to what would work best for your dogs to learn. Our two girls have made great strides with Problem Solved! Every lesson we were able to watch her train, then we would practice ourselves, and then we have tips to continue with at home training. We are very pleased with this training service. She gave us the confidence and skills we needed to be able to train our dog. We really had no idea that we were training him wrong until she came and helped us and taught us what motivates our dog. Our dog has separation anxiety and she showed us how to get him used to being left alone. The plan was to leave him in a crate when we left, but we used the same technique to train him to be left in the living room so he could be out with his kitty friends. It took us one month to be able to leave him alone for 6 hours with no destruction and accidents. We will use this training service again to teach him some more advanced tricks that we’re confused about how to show him. The first time she came to teach us, he only knew sit. With the tools and info she gave us we have also trained him how to lay down, speak, come when called, and how to give his paw while sitting and while in the down position all in a matter of a few days. Suzie (and Daniel) are very up to speed and always seeking and willing to learn better (humane) solutions to train dogs with ANY type of issues! They are reasonably priced too! We used Problem Solved Dog Training for our 2 Corgis. Our younger Corgi would start fights with our 2 year old Corgi. She would attack him out of nowhere. This would happen multiple times a week and even multiple times a day. Susie was able to help us keep our dogs mentally stimulated and we saw improvement after one session with her. We continued with her for 4 weeks of training and our dogs are getting along so much better now. Our house is more peaceful and the fighting has stopped. We got exactly what we wanted and more. Problem Solved Dog Training has changed our lives. After the first training session there was huge improvements. Our dog liked to jump, chew on everything, steal food, chase cars and constantly annoy his fur sister. Problem Solved Dog training has shown us ways to properly train and play with our dogs. The best part our dogs are so much happier. We had family over recently and they could not believe the improvements. We adopted our pup Tucker at 3 mo. He was perfect....until he would bite, bark and run our household. A friend recommended Emily at Problem Solved. After our first "consultation'" we knew she was the answer. She was patient, kind and thorough. She took her time assessing and addressing all his "problem" behaviors and told us everthing is fixable. It clearly shows she loves dogs and her work. After the initial consult and only one lesson (we signed up for a package) we were given the tools to completely change Tucker's behavior. He is an awesome dog... he just didn't understand what we wanted from him. Emily explained that and took her time showing us step by step what is needed to correct his behavior. Our only regret is not finding Emily sooner! (We spent a small fortune on chain store trainers). We were at our wit's end with our pup and honestly questioned if "there was something wrong with him". Emily is our trainer from Problem Solved and is a true professional . We rescued a 2 yr old German Sherpard Nikka with animal and people aggression issues . We had gotten to the point where we didn't think we could keep Nikka with our family. Emily evaluated her one time and assured us she could resolve her aggression issues.  After only a few sessions our Nikka has shown  HUGE improvement . Susie is by far the BEST dog trainer there is.  I have seen and worked with many dog trainers in my day and none can even begin to compare to what Problem Solved Dog Training can offer you. If I had to describe Susie, I would say she is a "but fixer". You tell her, my dog is great, BUT....he likes to try to kill people when they come in. Or BUT he barks at everything. She will fix the behavior problems that YOU think are behavior problems. She really works around your schedule and sincerely cares about your family and your dog. She does not mess around. Susie helped me to train my dog who wasnt a puppy anymore break bad habits from a previous owner. It wasnt a long drawn out ordeal either!  After a few sessions with her, we began to get results.
