HIRE TESSA! Seriously, there’s not much more that need to be said. Being a Type-A-Control-Freak-Hyper-Organized-Project Manager that I am, I never really thought I needed a wedding planner, but friends kept recommending that I get one, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted someone that matched my detailed oriented crazy self and could understand and execute my vision. My husband and I met with Tessa and instantly clicked with her. We interviewed a few other planners, but none could even come close to her positive energy and clear communication skills. Tessa made the wedding planning process a total breeze. Based on just a quick chat, she understood what we wanted immediately and put together the perfect mood board. We then collaborated to narrow down vendors that were within budget and matched our styles, and every single one of them were incredible. Unlike some wedding planners that only get involved once you select and sign with vendors, she helped us handle everything from venue site visits to vendor selection and contract signing all within the listed package price. She was so helpful and patient (especially when dealing with my indecisiveness or change of hearts!), and saved us a ton of time and money with her tips and suggestions. On top of planning, Tessa and Maria (her assistant) also coordinated our wedding day absolutely perfectly. They took away all of the stress of the day by handling vendor setups, guest arrivals, making sure we had food and a drink at all times, and that our schedule stayed on time for every event/game we wanted to do (and we had a lot lol). Working with Eclipse made our wedding day an absolute breeze. Cherese was our coordinator and was just the most amazing person to work with! From day 1, she was so attentive to our needs and what our priorities were for our wedding day. She was so sweet and caring, and made my husband and I feel so cared for the entire day. We got married at The Creek Haus in Dripping Springs, and they've got a contract with Premier Entertainment so our DJ was included in the venue package. We were absolutely blown out of the water by how incredible it was working with this team. They were thorough in their questions, made sure that we understood how to use their music app to upload our songs, and had lighting for the dance portion of the event that we rented as an add on. DJ Pharil was so helpful and professional leading up to the event, and made the actual wedding day so smooth, fun, and easy. Saint Spicer is the best! Our ceremony music was perfect, and our dance floor wasn't empty for a second. The folks at Premier Entertainment were so kind and responsive from day 1. We had several planning meetings with Saint to make sure we were acquainted and prepared for every detail. They also covered our photo booth, and provided props and an attendant. Haley was so supportive and helpful throughout our wedding day! Cherese at Eclipse Event Co. was absolutely incredible! She was so crucial to making our wedding day completely amazing. Throughout our whole planning process, she was kind and approachable and listened thoroughly to our vision for our wedding and had great suggestions to implement this vision. Cherese made us feel comfortable, made us feel at ease to ask questions throughout planning, and was so fun to chat with during our planning meetings throughout the process. I am a very detail-oriented person who likes to be involved in planning, so I really appreciate that she made the process very collaborative! She was accessible and responsive throughout the planning process and communicated very clearly. As an engaged couple who wasn't familiar with the world of wedding planning, we really appreciated Cherese's expertise and advice on how to do things or what would work well. Cherese did a great job communicating with our vendors and wedding party and was so organized. On top of helping us design the wedding we dreamed of, Cherese absolutely saved our wedding day when an ice storm destroyed our original venue about 48 hours before our wedding! When Cherese called to tell us the news that our original venue was unusable, she already had a great backup plan and acted quickly to communicate with our vendors and implement everything we wanted for our wedding in a new space. We were SO happy with how our wedding turned out, and Cherese worked tirelessly to make it happen. In addition to doing such an incredible job with planning (and re-planning), she helped our wedding day run super smoothly! She was so kind throughout the day while keeping track of what all our vendors and wedding party members needed to be doing and coordinated with all of them seamlessly. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Eclipse Event Co! Newly engaged and wildly overzealous, I truly underestimated how much we needed a professional to help plan our wedding. I had a general idea of what I wanted our wedding to look and feel like but, I really struggled with making decisions. I was worried my indecisiveness would negatively impact my wedding day. Enter Lauren Chumbley… I cannot put into words how amazing she was to work with. My now husband and I had only lived in Austin for a little over a year when we started planning our wedding with Lauren in April of 2021. She helped us understand all our options for the venue, band, florist, etc. Not only did Lauren help plan our wedding day, but she also planned our Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to our (many) requests and changes throughout the planning process. We ended up working with over a dozen different vendors and she managed those relationships flawlessly from start to finish. As any bride knows the weeks leading up to the wedding started to feel extremely overwhelming. Lauren was there to immediately alleviate any concerns or anxieties that I had. I was completely calm the day of the wedding because I knew Lauren had everything under control. If something did go wrong, we had no idea. Lauren is always two steps ahead! Reached out for a consultation, was basically told my budget was too low (15k) and they weren't bringing on anymore clients for 2022. My wedding is actually more than a year out but they didn't ask. They were nice when they rejected me, but never gave me a chance to explain that my budget can expand. As a new bride and this being the first planner that I reached out to hearing this made me feel even more overwhelmed. I have had the pleasure of working with Premier Entertainment, Brandon, for over 8 years in the event professional world. We connected as vendors on the other side of events and I told him when we first worked together, that I wanted him to be my DJ for my wedding . Fast forward 8 years later and he was the first vendor I called. He offers an abundance of professional knowledge, unique ideas to make your day special, and keeps people on the dance floor all night. I was impressed by the portal they offer to plan your music throughout our planning. During our phone calls, we talked about our guest dynamic and he was excited to get everyone to dance and guide the guests through the event. We chose to have the monogram and photobooth package and they were a big hit! We were able to customize to exactly how we wanted (who knew you could have so many options)! They provide a photobook and give it to you at the end of the night- so fast!! We wish we could give our DJ, Blake Arambula, 10 stars!! He was incredible every step of the way! We had wonderful vendors, but every meeting with Blake was our favorite because he was fun, efficient, flexible, and always made us feel like we were in the best hands. Booking Tessa from Eclipse Event Co was the best decision I made for my wedding. She is truly amazing and did such a wonderful job guiding me through the process - including an unplanned reschedule halfway through due to Covid. I can't imagine Eclipse not being there on my wedding day!! Tessa was absolutely amazing, down to every little detail! She even met with us in person way before her services started, since we were an out of state couple and happened to be in the Austin area one weekend and I wanted to meet her. I especially loved how she packed us up a little to-go box of cookies/brownies from our ceremony cocktail hour that we didn't get to join, to enjoy on our bus ride to our reception location (which we devoured.) After months of trying to plan our wedding on our own and never making it past venue tours, we finally decided to book Stacy. As soon as we started working with her, we made tremendous progress and felt so excited! She took our vision (which admittedly changed throughout the process) and ran with it. -She was able to execute everything within a matter of 8 months. -She was totally in the loop about best times to get the best deals with multiple vendors, which was huge for staying within budget! -She made it easy to understand the options. If you’ve tried vendor shopping on your own, it’s NOT easy or straightforward to break everything down into apples to apples comparisons. And when we faced challenges like the father of the bride no longer being able to attend the wedding, she was compassionate and helped us quickly to find ways to incorporate him virtually. On wedding day, we experienced the coldest day of the month which included frozen roads, and she made what could’ve been a timeline disaster completely smooth and ready for other delays. We had plans to take photos outdoors, but with the weather it was impossible. Stacy called and contacted COUNTLESS places so we could do photos indoors, and was able to successfully book a gorgeous indoor lobby basically overnight. This is HUGE. Usually photography/videography at hotels, museums, etc. require special permission/license to shoot and that is obtained months in advance. That photoshoot came out AMAZING! We came to Lauren at Eclipse in early 2021 with dreams of a NYE wedding. We live in Brooklyn, but I am originally from Texas, so we wanted to have our wedding in Austin. Well, after purchasing a few wedding planning books from Amazon (they are now collecting dust on my bookshelf, in case you can’t tell where this is going), I realized there was no way we could do this on our own. I realized that even if we lived in the same city as our wedding venue, we would still be in over our heads. The logistics alone during a “normal” year would have sent me over the edge, but with the rise and fall of health concerns over the past two years, we really needed help navigating the unexpected. Enter Lauren, our new best friend and wedding guru. Intellectually, I realize there are no perfect people, but Lauren comes pretty darn close. She navigated contracts, listened to and interpreted our vision, offered advice (and therapy) when we felt like we were dropping balls/ getting overwhelmed, and saved our wedding more than a few times (insert covid fury and disappointment). I will refrain from mentioning all of the ups and downs (as to keep any other brides from reading horror stories), but so many things started unraveling toward our wedding date, and Lauren was so helpful and focused on making things great; I knew it would all be OK. You might be the most patient, organized person ever, but when it comes to your own wedding, that kind of goes out the window. While I know you can “technically” do things on your own, it is just… it’s a lot, and I don't recommend it. You will be surprised how much you need someone who can offer perspective and solutions when things don’t go as planned (and trust me, that is true for any and every wedding that has ever happened). Your friends and family will be there to help you when you are deep in your feelings, but Lauren will do all of that AND help you figure out your options and solutions, while staying calm and positive. We recently hired DJ and Co-Owner of Premier Entertainment Group, Brandon Shabazz for our April 2nd, 2022 wedding and reception. We knew we hired one of the best DJ services in town; this was reinforced when multiple guests expressed to us how much they appreciated Brandon’s ability to read the room and play songs that captured their hearts. We were thrilled to hear this after months and months of planning, with the goal to not only enjoy ourselves, but also that our guests would feel warmed and welcomed to our wedding and reception. That talent of reading the room is more than meets the eye. We had personable meetings with Brandon months before the actual wedding. He was so keen on getting to know our vibe, thoughts, and feelings about how we envisioned our magical day would play out. In a way, getting to know us was a way to know our guests. Brandon put the work in, and that hard work contributed to our happiness for one of the best experiences of our lives. One of the best aspects of Brandon's services was the use of a music app that allowed us to easily integrate our personal music tastes throughout different parts of the day. The app provided autonomy to select music for different sections of the wedding and reception with built-in suggestions.. We even chose songs written and performed by friends who released music. The app found their music and Brandon played it. Lastly, probably like most weddings, we had a planned budget that forced us to make hard choices of what we could reasonably afford. There were some items we chose to forego in order to have Brandon’s services. So again, the great feedback from so many guests who singled out the music and vibe of our wedding, we know we made the right choice.
