We had a very positive experience painting the outside of our house with Precision Painting Plus. We started by getting an estimate from 6 different companies that had good online reviews, and PPP came in the best. We worked with Ken on the details of the job and he was quick to respond to our questions. Once we finished all the paperwork with Ken, we were put in tough with Anthony who would be the project manager. Same level of service. Anthony came by a few times to check on the progress of the job. The painters who were assigned to us were Eduardo and Aurelio who were fantastic. They were friendly, committed to doing a good job and kept their supplies neatly stacked on a covered pallet in our back yard for the duration of the job. We are happy with the end result of the job and our decision to select PPP. The only part that I could complain about is that the paint costs exceeded the high end of the estimate we were given, but even with that, the final costs were still below the next best bid. More...

Precision Painting Plus was incredibly overpriced, unprofessional, sloppy and rude. They painted my living room and master & primed a second bedroom and hallway. They did not sand the french pocket doors before painting so the paint came off within 2. They did not tape off any hardware, floor or glass of the french doors so there was paint on my doorknobs, floor and doors. When I pointed out the paint on the glass their technicians told me to "scrape it off with my finger nail". After pointing out the areas that needed touch ups 2 rounds later, I asked for is credit since they were unwilling or unable to fix the outstanding issues. They gave me an insignificant amount back which did not ladder up to the estimate given so I asked for a breakdown of the costs. They refused and told me a breakdown of the cost was unreasonable to ask. They then followed up by demanding payment of the balance less than 5 days after they finished work then threatened to send me to collections without providing the invoice I had asked for. More...

I thought these guys were top notch, there price certianly is top dollar but 2 months later to paint a 14 x 17 room and do a bathroom void of any furnishings has been a nightmare, still not finsihed and they want final payment, I am publicly inviting there business manger to the work site in CT to do a walk thru with me, with all the no shows and work that had to be done 3 times they complain about how long they have been there, at this time I can not reccomend them and if we cant come to an agreement on the pricing then I will have no chice but to repot them to the CT consumer protection dept to be investigated as well as the BBB so PPP Business Manager heres your opportunity to get in touch, talk with Matthew he wil know who I am in CT

Everything sounded great but when they came to do the job it turned out very sloppy and missed a few areas on the walls. We spent a lot of money and had to hire someone else to fix and repaint again. We hired Precision to paint two rooms and to scrape and smooth two stucco ceilings. The Project Manager, Michael, was polite and professional. His was the only estimate that did not involve demolition and re- sheet rocking. His workers were neat, pleasant and did a GREAT job. My ceilings are as smooth as glass, which Michael promised. Hired them for a job, they did fine. Then tried to get ahold of them for months to finish another job. Finally make an appointment to get an estimate and hes an hour late. When I told him I no longer needed the estimate, he responded that it was a "silly reason" not to work with them. I missed work for that appointment but apparently my time is not as important as his. BEWARE of PAUL ESCUE the project manager !!! HE Is the worst !!! He lied to us and in the end pocketed the deposit money.They come to your house , take your deposit , reassure that it's refundable . Guess what ....they lied, and in the end they pocket 50 percent of your deposit money ....and then don't return your phone calls and act as though nothing happened . Scumbags . More...

They said they would start next week and a month later were still saying this. That is no where near as bad as them putting down 200 sq feet of sub floor in a horrible way. telling me prior they will recut the demo to edge then not mentioning anything to me until I get back and job is done wrong- then saying they couldnt- aka they are too lazy too. They breached verbal contract right there and then breached contract further by leaving me the mess to clean up which took an hour of my day I did not have. We decided to end the contract when their work was not what they promised and absolutely subpar. It was the first and only thing they did. They reimbursed me some but took $2300 for laying the subfloor and said it isnt their problem. I have to pay someone to have it redone. these might be the first contractors I take to court. they are awful. Their work is awful. Their timing awful. Their clean up non- existant. their accountability also non-exisistent so far. they deserve negative stars for putting anyone through this. I have the pics time stamped to prove it all. Also if you saw there estimates on some stuff you would understand this company is a group of thieves who don’t give a damn about the integrity of their work. how they have any good reviews is beyond me. I had a problem with another demo company right before them- they did a bad job and took full accountability- had a public insurer adjuster come in and verify my claims- meanwhile Sean from PP told me “not my problem” and so far has stolen from me cause I have to get the entire subfloor redone. Very mixed feelings about this group. To start, price seemed fair, and the paint job looks good, mostly good. The free estimate went smoothly. Setting up an appointment time was smooth. Was told during the estimate it would take one day, but when they got there the day of the appointment they said it would take two. Ok, not such a big deal. Multiple times I had to tell the painters that they missed an area: around sills and behind the refrigerator. After they left the second day I had to dust the house and mop the floors to get rid of spackle dust. The furniture was covered from what I saw, but maybe they didn't cover right away? Cause some of my furniture was really dusty. There was paint drops on my radiators and some on my floors which I had to scrape off. They got paint on one of my doors that wasn't supposed to be touched. Here's where I really have issue. While moving furniture I had my wood floors scratched, and my grandmother's hutch scratched. See pictures. They also broke one of my high hat bulbs. The vaccumed it up, but I still found glass pieces when I looked around. All I got in return was an apology. Apologies don't fix what has been damaged. And to top it all off, above my window sills in the kitchen there are big areas that were painted poorly or not at all. I emailed them back explaining my issue. I get another apology and say they can someone to fix it up. It's been a week and I've heard nothing back.Paint on the walls looks good, but they damaged my home, gave no restitution, and don't have the customer care to return my emails and come fix up the spots they missed.9/18: Finally got a response after complaining to a gentleman who called asking for a customer survey. I was told they would come back for a touch up when they had a job in the area. Been a week since and there is no word of them coming.10/2: After receiving the comment on here, someone was sent to my house within the next few days. They touched up the missed areas and left. Raised my rating from 2 to 3 stars. No word about the scratches. The vice president of customer relations called, but I haven't had the time to call her. Will report back.12/30 I never did call them back. Just never found the time. It's been a while, and you know, the paint job itself was really good. It was fast and the corners are all near perfect. They did come back and fix the missed paint spots. Never did anything for the scratches but maybe they would have if I called. Changed my review to 4 stars. The paint job was really good. Stay AWAY! ! Went with PPP based on reviews and and was nothing but disappointed, deceived and constantly ignored when they took my $1500 deposit and never even started the work. They made me lose time and piece of mind on top of added and unnecessary grief and stress. It took them almost a month to issue a refund, only after incessantly calling and speaking to over a dozen people who just passed the buck to the next “customer service rep” My intention to take them to court finally did the trick otherwise I’d still be waiting for my refund There is nothing customer service oriented about this company.
