We have been working with Wendy for a few weeks now and are so impressed with her emails, communication, and the nice walks our dog is getting. Wendy even spends time playing with our dog. SO glad to have someone we can trust and that communicates so well with us. The intake process was also very thorough. We were able to meet Wendy first which put us at ease right away. We've been utilizing PPPC for about 18 months and could not be happier with our service. Ian has been our regular dog walker the entire time with a few fill-ins here and there when we have a last minute need. We have a pretty hyper, reactive German Shepard that needs a little extra attention than we were first used to. Upon meeting Ian on our initial intake I knew they were a match made in heaven. It took less than 2 minutes for Rufus to warm up to his new buddy and he's been obsessed ever since. Ian is super responsive and helpful for last minute changes and weekend needs too! Rufus loves him so much that we sometimes have Ian come by when one or both of us is home so Rufus gets time with his BFF. We'll never be able to move! I would highly recommend Prairie Path Pet Care. The attention to detail and care for my Ari has been wonderful. I highly recommend Prairie Path Pet Care! I started using this service because I am unable to board one of my dogs due to aggression issues related to one of her medical conditions. I first met Marsha when she came over for our free meet & greet, and I immediately felt at ease with leaving my two dogs (whom I treat like my children) in her exemplary care. In all of my experiences with vets, groomers, boarders, etc., I had never before met someone with whom I could entrust the care of my dogs as fully as I am able to do with Marsha. We have been using Prairie Path to take care of our dog when we are out of town. We could not be any happier with their service. Our dog is older & requires medications which they take care of. They take him for short walks if the weather is ok, otherwise they let him out & then spend time with him. We especially appreciate the detailed emails about the visits & the photos they send after every visit. I absolutely love Prairie Path Pet Care! We started using this service because our dog went into heat before we could spay her and so she couldn’t go to daycare anymore (no puppies! !) and we needed someone to watch her during the day. Marsha came for a (free!) meet and greet and showed me how the technology worked. The tech is really easy to use and the prices are great, but most importantly, Marsha takes such good care of Caribou and always sends great summaries of the visit complete with photos. Marsha has been the manager for the year or so that I've been with Prairie Path and they have always been very nice to me, and my pup, very accommodating if my schedule is a little wonky for the week. Tom and his team have been supporting my family for almost a year. They are flexible and always there when we need them. Our first meeting to walk through the program and meet our puppy was great and they are amazing with animals. Fantastic service! Tom and Gina truly care for our dog. You can tell that they go above and beyond to ensure that not only does he get his excerise but that he enjoys his time. Most days after his walk they will play catch with him in the back yard which is his favorite activity. The app that they use is awesome. My wife and I get a full report daily; Map of the walk, photos and a quick write up of his activities. The scheduleing tool is also very helpful for when one of us is working from home and do not need the service that day. Eric is so great with the animals and with their humans! When I rescued/adopted my new puppy, I was worried about leaving him alone for too long and called Prairie Path Pet Care. Eric and team immediately responded to my inquiry and upon interviewing and checking their glowing references, we started service with Prairie Path. Eric spent a great deal of time with me and my puppy upfront before starting service and together, we developed a plan that is working like a charm. Eric and team take time with him each day to reinforce all the things he is learning in obedience school and to ensure he gets some play time and walk time in each day. Prairie Path Pet Care has been great! I got my pup back in June and have been using their service since about August so just over 3 months now. At first we hired a person from our neighborhood which seemed like a good idea but you do have to factor in the fact that a neighborhood person is just one person. Prairie Path has back up walkers if something comes up and that is a huge advantage that I didn't even think about. At first I thought the daily e-mails were a little much but it is very comforting knowing exactly when your dog gets taken out. Tom is the manager I believe and he responds to my e-mails and calls right away every time. He is very professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things about these people who are affiliated with Prairie Path Pet Care. I just recently moved into the area from out of State and was very reluctant to leave my fur baby with anyone. But, I did some research online and ran across some fantastic and positive reviews and decided to give them a try. Tom, who is the Manager is very professional and took out the time to come to my home to sit down and discuss the needs of my pet and to do a consultation. They are very high-tech and up to date on payment and etc. To top it all off, as I was dropped off by my cab on my return home, I found that my newly made key would not work and I was locked out of my own home. I texted Wendy and she came to my rescue. She is the walker that had taken care of my dog while I was away. You can't get any better service than this. I tend to fly by the seat of my pants. Twice now I've left on trips out of town and last minute I needed someone to watch my two sweetest boys, Ivan and Nigel. Ivan and Nigel are Bengal cats and aren't the friendliest cats to new people. However, it was clear from the photos Shawn sent while I was away they warmed right up to him! It's comforting to know I have someone to count on and that my boys will be taken good care of while away! Thank you Tom and Prairie Path Pet Care! Just got back from a long weekend trip and I am so happy with the service that Prairie Path provided for my two cats. They made sure that they understood my cats personalities and any quirks they have. I received a message when the visit started and ended and what I liked best of all was the daily e-mail update about the visit that really put my mind at ease that everything was going well and they were in good hands. I used this pet care service for the first time last week, as I went out of town and had nobody to take care of my beloved kitty while I was away. I have never used a service before, and I needed additional things done around my house like feeding my fish, watering my plants, and bringing in my mail--all the stuff a friend would have done to take care of my house. Shawn totally hooked me up! Not only did I come back to all three fish and my plants still living, but my cat had been well cared for and made it through my absence just fine.
