The food was AMAZING and so was the crew. Saul was so friendly and amazing at the bar and the other two were equally fantastic. The food was delicious everyone asked me about it!

The corn salad was the BEST thing I’ve ever had. Literally. I can’t say enough good things!! Great service, easy to book, well priced, excellent food.

Their pork was good, but no flavor to it.  It was coated in grease with crystalized grease chips in it.  The hot sauce that comes with it was hot, like burn your lips hot. Hobenero maybe. It was an absolute pleasure working with Elena. She is so accommodating and the food was delicious. I will definitely use this catering service in the future.

If I could give Porchetta Toscana a bajillion stars I would. From the first call all the way to the end of the event, Elena was the very best to work with. She is super organized, proactive and responsive but also laid back, funny and warm. She was mindful of our budget and helped us make a lot of decisions while not forcing anything.

We had PT cater our wedding reception this past weekend. It was outdoors and during a heat wave! PT made 4 kinds of tacos, fresh on site, for about 130 people. The food was excellent, I got many compliments about it. At our tasting I asked Elena to make a few of her favorite things and we ended up ordering most of her recommendations. Fried shrimp tacos and the elote loco were my personal favorites, but I got compliments about everything. PT also staffed our bar and made a cocktail and non-alcoholic aqua fresca, which were both fantastic. But she also was OK with us buying a lot of the alcohol, drinks and dishes ourselves so we could save a little money. It all came out perfectly, even in the heat. She was so easy to work with and so accommodating and delicious looking food.

Elena and her husband were wonderful and very patient to work with. They did an amazing job serving delicious food to 24 people at my moms 90th birthday. They cleared the plates etc quickly and were very friendly and mixed in with the party so well that it made it very relaxing. I think the beef skewers were the favorite but everything was delicious. Elena was wonderful to work with - she responded right away to my request to cater my niece’s bridal shower. We worked out the details and they were very accommodating. The event was to have been at my house, but covid reared its ugly head and I had to switch venues at the last minute. They were very empathetic and went to the new location. Elena at Porchetta Toscana did an incredible job catering for 50 people at my boyfriend’s 40th birthday celebration in San Francisco. From the initial communication, she was professional, quick to respond, and was interested in getting to know what we truly most desired for food for the party. In addition to creating an amazing, personalized menu, Elena helped me think of and decide on some nuanced details that made the flow of the party so beautiful. Our guests were all going back for second plates - EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious! Ran into Porchetta at the Head West marketplace @Hanger 1 in Alameda today.   Tried the sandwich with extra ... onions, arugula and mushrooms!  It was delish!

Elena and Gustavo were fantastic! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Elena is responsible, quick to respond, organized, lovely and fun. Gustavo, the chef, grilled a variety of meat as Elena prepared the delicious taco bar. The work great together and have impressive communication. They came, they fed 40 folks for a great price, they cleaned up an off they went. Awesome. I highly recommend them to you for Italian or Mexican style food at your next event. FUN! More...
