Got the Pastrami Rueben Pocket and not really impressed. Perhaps is was a one off but a sandwich of any kind should be mostly the main type of protein which in this case should have been pastrami but clearly as seen in the picture, it's mostly sauerkraut. I love sauerkraut but for a Rueben there should have been more pastrami. Also not a lot of Thousand Island dressing and the Swiss Cheese was not very flavorful. Might give them another shot sometime. These sandwiches are the best, best part the BREAD/ POCKET. Unlike anything else and baked every day. I love they have a vast selection, if you cant find something your crazy. Always fresh always yummy. They get pretty busy and are only open during the week for lunch but well worth the try. Never had them make it wrong either! More...

Just went to this place the other day and WOW!. It's just down sunrise blvd. in the Natomas area by Home Depot. Â My wife and I split a pastrami pocket. Â The bread was super fresh and the pastrami was delicious. Â The menu has MANY other choices and you won't be disappointed. Â Alan, the owner was very helpful and gave us the info for various choices also. Â Brandon made the sandwhich and it was plenty for 2 people or if you are REALLY hungry, enough for yourself. Ordered through Caviar and it's so good! They definitely do not skimp on the fillings and the bread is so SO so good! My dad used to take me and my sister here when we were little and it still tastes just as good!

Too much bread, not enough meat. Just add a little more meat to your sammies. Â We would be repeat customers if you did. My husband isn't a big eater and he was starving at dinner after a $11 pastrami sandwich for lunch. And he is a light eater. Also please improve ventilation so we don't smell for the rest of the day after a 3 minute pickup. More...

Always enjoy a deli that knows their bread and this deli knows their bread. It is SOOO good. I recommend get some of their bread to go; stuff whatever you want in it and be satisfied. First time here, I wanted something meatless so got the Caprese panini. The pesto sauce was herby, creamy, tasty, vegetables were fresh, the mozzarella added a nice creaminess to the crispy bread. The balsamic vinaigrette was a little overpowering so I couldn't get the full taste of the bread but the bread texture was still on point: soft inside absorbs all the sauces and flavor, thick enough outer layer to hold the contents. Almost like a bread bowl but not as crusty which is perfect for the cold sandwiches. My sandwich didn't really need the vinaigrette since the pesto was more than enough flavor for me so next time I'd just ask for the vinaigrette on the side. Un friggin believable! The bread is super unique and incredibly soft. I'm from NJ/NY and having been in California for 5 years I kind of gave up on the hope that I'd find a decent sandwich spot. This place blew my mind! Had a 50/50 and a buffalo chicken sandwich and split them with my friend, we sat down and devoured everything in like 3 minutes. The food is great. The owner, (Alan) is not kind to his workers. We were ordering and over heard him loudly telling his workers they're lucky to have a job and complaining workers aren't showing up . On top of that , he came outside to track me down to return my basket in an extremely unkind manner without asking if I was planning to return it . So I tried this place not once but twice to give it a chance.I must say as far as sandwiches go they are ok, i had the meat ball and marinara sandwich the first time. Â It was kind of cold and the cheese was not melted, also I had asked to have the bread toasted and it wasn't. The second time I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a mac and cheese.
