1-He has the best customer service I have encountered in all of my 43 years of life. He was hired to cook a holiday dinner for my family but he inspired my son to want to be a chef(he’s 7).
2-The food was creative, flavorful, and quite frankly we all could taste his passion in every bite.
3- He delivered above and beyond on all of our expectations. There were twenty-five of us at this lovely home in Reunion. He and his staff made sure entire party was well taken care of.

I was in town with my family for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was our first time having a private chef come and prepare a meal for us. Oh man where do I even start. Everything was so fantastic. Chef Ken was prompt and professional during the entire booking process. He made sure that we had something for everyone on our menu. The booking process was so easy. He and his team arrived early and it was like watching poetry in motion the way they set up their workspace and set the table. Did I mention he took the time to give our 10 & 7 year old an impromptu lesson. (Now they won’t leave the kitchen at our house) It was such a precious moment.
We had the 5 course experience and man it was everything we hoped for and then some. The salad, those jerk shrimp egg rolls(my wife’s fav), and don’t let me get started on that Mac Attack. It was hands down the BEST MAC AND CHEESE EVER!!! We had ham, wings, these little potatoes that were packed with so much freshness and flavor. It was all topped off with 3 amazing desserts. I love pumpkin pie but I’m now a lover of the sweet potato pie. I was hesitant at first but we were all so pleasantly surprised when we took that first bite of sweet velvety love.
It was truly a night we will cherish forever.

Chef Ken was better than amazing.
Where do I even begin? We were traveling to Davenport for my Sister’s bday and Chef Ken was super accommodating at every step of the process. Booking was simple and easy. He listened to our ideas and gave us a menu we didn’t even know we needed. It was the perfect day.
For brunch he made the absolute best shrimp and grits I’ve ever eaten in my life. The Peach Cobbler French Toast was a first and everyone loved it.
Dinner we had the 5course experience. Giirrrrrllllllllllll!!!!!!

The Mac Attack was so creamy and cheesy and the honey bourbon Salmon was the right compliment to balance our meal. I asked him to move back to Atlanta it was just the most incredible night we’ve ever had.

Booked A date night for my Girlfriend for her Birthday. I went all out and got the 5 course experience. Each course was better than the one before. My girlfriend felt like she was back at home in the Caribbean with the flavors Chef Ken infused into our meal. The Jerk shrimp egg rolls were banging. She loved the “Passa Passa Pasta” Everything was A1. To top off the night

Plates On Deck Catered my 15th wedding anniversary. I don’t even know where to start...
To begin with the booking process was amazing. I loved working with my own personal chef to create a menu of everything my husband and I love. Ok now to the day of the event, the Chef and his team arrived 10minutes early and ready to work. They were beyond professional. The setup was beautiful and somehow they knew My favorite flower and had them in a beautiful centerpiece.
We have a Land and Sea theme.
The bacon wrapped scallops were just mouth watering. My husband still cannot stop talking about How fresh and flavorful the massive seafood Seafood boil spread was. My mother couldn’t get enough of the king crab and the Cajun butter. OMG!!!!! I cannot forget about those succulent filet mignon that just melted on my tongue. To top the night off there was a variety of desserts. I personally recommend the strawberry shortcake Mason Jars and the Cinnamon apple crumb. We have found the only chef and catering company that we will ever use.

Every time I’ve ordered food from My Plates in deck it feels like the very first time no gas. I enjoy evenly seasoned food with a dash of razzle and a side of dazzle. Get a seafood boil, the pasta, the steak, the salmon, the French toast, anything really you won’t be disappointed More...
