Q&As

The most powerful photography sensor available is found, not in the camera, but within yourself. The secret lies in your ability to recognise emotion and document it with a photo. It doesn’t matter if you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, point and shoot, or a smartphone; a memorable event transcends technology. Although today’s camera ads promise that just about anyone can take a great photo, this is merely a marketing gimmick. Mastering your camera takes enormous dedication, continued practice and the burning desire to reach new heights.

Photography is not just a job for me. I don’t do it because I need to. I’m a photographer because my love for the art of it, and I love the challenge of composing and creating beautiful photographs. I have the privilege of creating timeless images for my clients that will be treasured for epilouges. I get to meet with fantastic people, tear up during ceremonies, and fall in love with their loved ones throughout the event. I get to express my creativity while running my own business and turning amazing clients into even better friends.

I think what inspires me the most are our customers. I specifically set aside time to read customer chats, reading the positive comments of course is awesome, but I also get a lot of value from the things that we can improve on. I read those conversations and get inspired to do things better, change things and develop products based on that feedback. That inspires me every day.

I approach each assignment much like a magazine shoot which requires planning, researching, and scouting the venue. This process is applied from start to finish ensuring a high level of professionalism to your images.

Yes i have online services through my website and social media platforms, as well as the transportation to provide remote services.

With the recent outbreak of covid 19 I keep subjects NOT in scene with mask and keep a sanitizer on scene. Group shoots have been reduced to 5 at a time. Sanitation is required between change outs.
