Almost 8 years ago I entered treatment and my journey lead me to Phoenix. Little did I know I would be given the chance a year later to work with the company. My 7 Years is coming up as a PHOENIX employee and I am so grateful I can give back what was given to me. I love my job, coworkers, consumers... CCRC Shelby is the best (had to get that in). I have been with Phoenix Counseling for 5 + years and I have never had a job that I felt this good about. I get to work with a fantastic staff and have a wonderful Director. We have counselors that really listen to our consumers and work with them to assist with further treatment and other placement when needed. It's the best feeling when a consumer comes to me to say that I have made a difference in their recovery or to see them a year or more later and they are still clean and sober. More...

My experience with Phoenix has not been as a patient, but as an individual collaborating with them. Every time I have needed a partner for an event or a speaker they have stepped up to the plate. When I organized a visit with the Attorney General they did not hesitate to be a stop on his listening tour. I feel better knowing they are in our community and if I or someone I love ever needed their services I would not hesitate to go there. They are professional and caring individuals making a difference in the lives of Gastonians. Thanks for all you do! More...

This place saved my life I was trying to kill myself before I went here and every person that works at Phoenix from the nursing staff to the counselors and the group of men and women who take time out of there lives to come share their experiences strength and hope loved me till I could love myself. i would not be alive and able to help people like myself today if it wasn't for this place they showed me that I don't have to live like this that there is a better way and help me to get there but I had to want it for myself no one can make you change but they will be there to show you that you can and help you but you have to put in the work..
I love everyone at Phoenix think got for this place and all the angles that work here.
