We couldn't find quality pet care for our dog Rio when we had to leave town suddenly for a family emergency. Upon realizing that there was a great need for quality pet care I quit my Director of Marketing position with a vegan food company and started PHL PETS.

The most important things we can do to minimize the risk of infection, and minimize the risk of transferring infection to our clients, is to be cautious when interacting with clients when entering their homes.

We always wear face masks
We minimize the amount of time that we spend in client homes.
If a client is home we maintain a distance of at least 6 feet and wear a face mask (duh).
We wash or sanitize our leashes.
We wash our hands (and use hand sanitizer) frequently during the course of the day, especially after touching surfaces that may be contaminated.
We avoid touching our face.
We limit close contact with pets belonging to individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19.
We maintain a distance of at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people while out in public. This may influence where we walk our clients’ dogs.
We seek out routes that are uncrowded, so that we can minimize our interactions with others.
We always wear a face mask if we will be in an area with a higher density of people.
