Working with Philaneys was a dream! I hired Phillip for my daughters first pumpkin themed birthday. He provided a speedy reply with menu ideas and willingness to modify his menu to fit my interests, needs and budget. He was extremely responsive and patient, entertained all of my ideas and creatively curated the most amazing original menu of foods from chicken and pumpkin waffles, pumpkin flatbreads, pumpkin garnished Mac and cheese, pumpkin/beet/goat cheese salad, harvest vegetables to pumpkin ravioli bourbon pork chops and truffle shrimp! The food tasted amazing and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Phillip even went as far as using bowls and toothpicks to match the pumpkin party theme. If I had to Choose out of the many dishes. I would have to say Smoked Gouda Lobster Mac N’ Cheese
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
First step is listening to the clients needs. Making sure to ask about any dietary restrictions. Thirdly asking about budget restrictions and finally coming up with a menu and presenting it to the potential client.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is client interaction. It’s one of the best parts of my job. Creating a memorable event from start to finish.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working in Corporate accounts for so many years and. Having multiple clients ask for outside catering gave me the push to start my own business.
