Found Pet Pals after a long search for local, friendly, & responsive companies/people who could respond/help on short notice. I found Karen and her team to be the most friendly and service oriented company that I hoped to find in caring for our 2 older (14years-sometimes finicky) cats! They're very detailed oriented. While filling our their paper work, they try to cover everything they may need to care for your pets. They offered fair pricing; We pay online (which is great) for 30min session/petsitting we felt would work for us. Our cats are so happy to have consist visits from familiar sitters and ones that giving them love, attention & grooming if need be. They even leave written notes/details on each visit explaining how the visit went and what transpired...my wife loves to read these. Please give them try, we think you won't be disappointed. More...

We have been using Pet Pals Pet Sitting services for more than a year now. Karen and her team have provided exceptional service to our chocolate lab and two cats. We don't worry about our pets while we're traveling because we know they are in good hands. If anything happens while you're away, such as a curious cat getting into the Fortiflora in the pantry or the dog experiencing an upset stomach, rest assured you'll be notified and the proper actions are already being taken by Karen and her team. We have two dogs, a husky and a schnauzer and have used Pet Pals for almost a year now. They are incredibly professional and accommodating. I never worry about leaving our dogs, even for a last minute trip. Every time we come home, the pups are happy and content. Also, I am confident our house will be safe. I had never used a dog walking service before and was very nervous - but Karen and Karla at pet pals put all my concerns at ease! They were super flexible on visit times, were very prompt, and took great care of our dog! They left a written note after each walk/feeding which was much appreciated. We have used Karen's pet sitting services a few times to watch our 2 large dogs while out of town and have been extremely pleased with her services. Our dogs need lots of attention and also take medications and I feel they were very well taken care of. I also appreciated the detailed notes about each visit. If you are looking for flexible, accommodating, kind people to give the best care to your animals then call Karen at Pet Pals! Karen and Tee Jay will be our go-to pet sitters as long as we live here :) I first contacted Karen a few weeks ago after we adopted our puppy, Ella. My husband and I keep a busy schedule between work and trips, etc (we are also new to the area) so right after we got our puppy home I started worrying about who would help us with Ella when we were busy. Â Karen's company was recommended to us by our vet, Oak Forest Vet. Our first week with Ella my husband had to go out of town and since I work long shifts, I asked Karen if she could come let Ella out during the day so she wouldn't have to be stuck in her crate for 12+ hours! Karen responded right away and came over to meet Ella the very next day. Â She was very kind and I felt a wave of relief knowing our puppy was in good hands. Tee Jay, who is part of Karen's team at Pet Pals, also watched over Ella and each time they came over they would leave little notes telling me what all they did during the visit, so cute! :) My husband and I again asked Karen to watch over Ella for 5 days while we were out of town this past week/weekend. Â Karen coordinated with Tee Jay to come over 4 times a day. Â We also have a cat who does not really require much care, but Tee Jay still checked on her food, even scooped her litter box and gave her lots of loving! Â It was so nice knowing that our animals were being taken care of in their home environment and we were able to enjoy our trip worry-free. While we were gone the vet called us to let us know Ella needed medication, Karen went to the vet, picked up the medication and then her and Tee Jay gave it to her each day! When we came home we really enjoyed reading all the notes about how each day went. Tee Jay took her for walks and jogs to work off her puppy energy...and she even did some laundry when Ella peed on her blanket in the crate :) I know Ella and our kitty were in the best hands! Cannot say enough good things about Sarah who works fur Pet Pals Pet sitter. She is the cat lady who takes care of my cat. We recently went away fur three weeks. It was such a relief to me not to have to worry about my Kitzie or my house while being gone so long. A good pet sitter is worth a million. Pet Pals has taken great care of my two kitties. We went on two extended vacations that lasted about two weeks each and my mind was at ease knowing Karen and her staff were watching after my pets and my home. They leave notes each time they come by. I loved reading them when we returned as they really got to know my pets and their personalities. While away I asked for a few updates via email and received responses quickly. They also brought in our mail, opened/closed blinds, alternated lights, etc. Their prices are reasonable for the services they provide. There was a small surcharge for Christmas and New Years which I found completely acceptable as they were willing to work on holidays. More...

Wow!!! If there were a 6 star option, PetPals would deserve it. Â Karen and her crew watched our kitties for a week while we were on vacation. Â Karen came over to meet the cats before we left and got a feel for how they interact with us, and they did their best to recreate that level of affection while we were gone.They came twice a day and played with the cats, fed them, pet them, and sat with them for 30 minutes per visit. They made sure each cat got attention and affection. Each day they left a very detailed note of what they did during the visit, which cats did what, and a general overview of behaviors. They even brought toys for the cats to play with, and left a few of their favorites to keep! We left instructions for feeding and told them we were in the process of switching to wet food, and they followed our directions to a T! They cleaned up after themselves (and the kitties who had a couple... Accidents...) and really took care of our cats.I could not be happier with the services they provided from start to finish. Michelle has been walking my dog Gus each day and he absolutely loves her. He just had surgery and I have felt so much better going to work each day knowing that she is coming by to check on him. I can definitely tell a difference in his energy level. I also love the daily notes she leaves for me to keep me in the loop. Karen and Pet Pals is fantastic. Getting our cat to the vet to be boarded is a hassle and our cat hates the process. Karen & Sarah take wonderful care of our bulldog. They have been helping us care for her since our pup was too young to attend day care. Pet Pals is flexible, Karen always replies promptly to my emails (even when they are kind of late at night!). She does her best to accommodate our last minute requests and leaves detailed comments in our Pet Pals binder after every visit. They even take the time to try to play with our cat! I have been so pleased with Karen and her team. They are professional and I would recommend her to anyone. She is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience working with dogs. Most importantly, Karen treats our dogs like they are her own. She plays with them, loves on them and gives them treats. From the first moment I saw her interact with my pups, it was clear that they loved her (and my dogs aren't always easy to please!)
