Pete is absolutely AMAZING!!!! He truly captures the moments that mean the most! It's been almost a year since I was in a wedding that he photographed and I still get tearie eyed when I look at them! Pete has been wonderful since I first contacted him. His website was very easy to navigate and he responded to my email within 30 minutes of me sending it. After a wonderful engagement photo shoot, Pete took the time to send me over 100 amazing photos within a week and I was even able to order the coolest metal prints of my favorites through him as well! I've known Pete for nine years since moving to Bend when he used to work for The Bulletin. He is such an awesome and fun guy and one of the most truly talented artists I've met. His portfolio really speaks for itself. He knows how to "get the shot" and will make you and your family look awesome on your wedding day without it feeling contrived. How he presents himself also speaks worlds about his attitude towards his craft. I've worked a bunch of weddings with him and sometimes he wears a bow tie and suspenders. If you choose Pete Erickson as your wedding photographer, you will have beautiful images you and your family will love, you will get fast answers to all your questions as you are planning for your wedding, you will get expert recommendations—and a reminder to always have fun, which was so great to hear when the planning got stressful. Pete arrived at our wedding dressed for the occasion—even wearing a bow tie. He made taking hours of photos fun, and during the reception, I don’t really remember seeing much of him—a sign of a good photographer as you want your guests to relax and be themselves so your photographer can capture natural and fun images. Pete was also good about getting my husband and I to relax and have fun during our photo session before the ceremony, which created even better photos of us.
