Pet Wants J-town has great parking & easy access from Ruckriegel Pky. It is the place to be if you have or ! Rich is very knowledgeable about the products in his store. I checked out the store several months ago & took home a sample of the dog food, my Bichon enjoyed it, she like the taste & it’s small kibble which she prefers. Pet Wants J-Town has unique treat textures for enrichment. In the photo I have purchased “dried salmon skin” think jerky & stuffed it into a Holee ball. Always a hit! Bought several treats for my pups at an event this past Wednesday night. bought jerky and couple hard bones and the pups are them up. now of course I say pups and they are not really pups one is 4 years old the other is 12 years old.. I stopped in recently to browse because the store is close to my office. The owner promptly greeted me and made sure if I needed any assistance that he would be happy to oblige. I was in the market for a new collar because about a week ago we took in a dog that was dumped by our house. As I was chatting with the owner about some lacerations the rescue dog had on his ear, he promptly gave me the tester jar of their healing salve and told me to take it home, no charge and see if it helped him. Within 3 days, his ear and neck wounds improved severely and within a week were totally healed! My infant daughter and I have very sensitive skin, so we are are a chemical-free household, and I love that this product has no chemicals/preservatives/parabens etc. It is safe enough for dogs to eat, because we all know they like to lick off topical ointments, and safe for mine and my daughters skin as well. I try and support local establishments whenever possible, and the kindness I was shown in this location is exactly why! They care about the quality of their products and customer satisfaction. You wont find that in corporate retail. I purchased a collar for my rescue boy that was very affordable with a lifetime guarantee, which is awesome given that my dogs love to wrestle and often damage collars annually. The recommendations speak for themselves- the owner is truly such a kind and helpful individual. I stopped in recently to get a collar for a dog we took in-he was dumped in our neighborhood. Upon discussing that he had some lacerations, the owner didn't hesitate to give me a tester jar of their healing salve at no charge to see if it helped him.
