Overall experience – excellent (6 out of 5). What I wanted was a painted landscape showing where I grew up on a ranch. This included the buildings, house, lake, gravel road and various animals positioned on a rolling hills landscape.
The starting point was some old photos. Many of the artists I met with only wanted to do a barn and a tree. After doing some research I found Joanna (PEPs Arts).
Knowing nothing about paintings, Joanna was willing to come out to the house to see where I wanted to hang the painting and the house décor. She made recommendations on the painting size, materials and frame options. We got started by her making digital drafts providing me the opportunity to edit it. I was also able to add detail that was not readily available from the photos. Communications via emails, texts and occasional phone calls went very smoothly.
I was very pleased with the outcome and more impressed after hanging the painting. It will definitely be a conversation piece. Highly recommended.

What do you love most about your job?
Every project is a fresh start and challenge. I love to create art and design with clients idea and color palate. I will often give my opinions based on my experience on possible changes for consideration. Feedback on the finished product is also important to me. A happy client gives me more inspiration.

I provide both services online and remotely using Facetime, zoom. Houston clients often meet in person and can pick up. I also ship nationwide /international.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I ware mask if we meet in person. All my artwork frames are cleaned with sanitizer wiped before shipping or pick-up.
