Had an amazing stay at the Pelton House. Hot tub was clean and so perfect after a long day of exploring downtown Ashland. Bed was cozy and comfortable and the room was spotless. The location can’t be beat.

This is a great place to stay if you are in Ashland. It is centrally located, yet tucked on a quiet street. Beware, no microwave in the room, but otherwise the room was well provisioned. The grounds are homey and well cared for. We had a …Read more on Expedia.com More...

Great location with yard. Wish they supplied toilet paper! We stayed two nights and was only given a partial roll of toilet paper. Given the price we paid we thought it was strange to have to go out specifically to buy it. No manager on premise and it seemed silly to contact the emergency number. Overall a great location and very convenient to Shakespeare festival. No housekeeping during our short stay but plenty of towels provided. More...

We loved it at Pelton! We stayed in the Earth suite, which was perfect for the two of us after a lon day hiking and driving. First, I really appreciated the code on the door being changed for each guest. The inside of the earth suite was amazing! It was like a little get away! The bathroom and shower area reminded me of a spa. We had a hot tub outside our suite, all to ourselves. Very private. We could not hear the other guests at night or in the morning. The hotel owners sent us a detailed email before check in that gave us all the details we needed to get to the hotel, check in, and log in to the wifi without a traditional check in. They did give the option for a traditional check in greeting, but we did not need that. More...

This is a great place to stay if you are in Ashland. It is centrally located, yet tucked on a quiet street. Beware, no microwave in the room, but otherwise the room was well provisioned. The grounds are homey and well cared for. We had a room with a private patio and a hot tub. The first night the Hot Tub was clean, but needed attention by the second night and there was no one there to take care of it. In fact, there was no one there at all that I could see. In one way, it was marvelous not to have Hotel staff hanging around, but you are stuck if you need any help or extra towels. Overall I would say this is a great place and I would definitely stay again! More...

This is a great place to stay. The location is excellent; we parked our car in the space provided and didnt get in it again until the day we left. Walking distance to everything. We stayed in the Earth room. Unlike many places, the room was even nicer than the photos indicate. The bathroom is very spacious, with beautiful details. The bedroom itself is bigger than youd think. We used the hot tub and ate our breakfast, procured from the Co op a block away, out on the private, sunny patio. The neighborhood is very quiet yet close to everything. The no-key keypad entry system works really well, so theres no fussing with who has the key. I highly recommend this place and think it is a very good value for the money. I hope to stay here again. On a neighborhood street, located only a few blocks from Lithia Park and Ashland's "downtown." We never needed our car. We came to Ashland for one night to view the solar eclipse. Lynn, the host was gracious and friendly on the phone when I made our reservation. She offered us late checkout, so we didn't have to miss a minute of the celestial show. We stayed in the Water room, which is upstairs in the carriage house. It has a spacious feel, with two small upholstered chairs and a table, in addition to the king-size bed, and is roomy enough for a luggage rack beside the bed without feeling crowded. The bathroom is small but adequate, and the shower is comfortably over-sized. The room was spotless, the bed felt great, and the air-conditioning was on when we arrived. It was live-in ready. Nice welcoming touches: a bowl of fruit, bottled water, wine glasses and opener, coffee, and a small fridge---and a pair of solar viewing glasses for the eclipse! Self check-in was easy and convenient. We didn't have to worry about timing our arrival for a meeting with staff. The entry and WiFi instructions Lynn emailed me were clear and thorough. I loved having a personal door-code, rather than a room key. Half of the main house features a two-story "villa suite" apartment, with all of the amenities of home, as well as a couple of smaller rooms. (Lynn showed us around the entire property the next morning--all of the rooms are lovely). The grounds are shady and green. This would be a wonderful place for a family get-together, or a gathering of friends. We want to come back! More...

So happy to land here. The room was impeccable, clean & comfortable. The outdoor jacuzzi and private space was a bonus. I wish the sofabed had been more comfortable - that's my only critique. It was in no way usable for my older, 4th-day-of-a-roadtrip back! More...

We stayed at the Pelton House for 1 night in early May. Our host (Mary) was great. We got the Earth room and it has a private enhance and patio space. It was clean, spacious, and cozy for the two of us. We were able to park our car right in front of the room so it felt like coming home. We loved the location as it was a block from the Ashland Coop. We would definitely return and recommend this place to our friends. More...
