To anyone who is considering hiring Pear and Thorn to capture ANY special moment in their lives, DO IT! My husband and I trusted them with the task of filming our wedding day and it was probably the single best decision we made, throughout the entire planning process. We met with lots of videographers, but from the moment we met with Samantha, we knew she was the one we wanted to capture one of the most important days of our lives. She was more present and genuine than any other vendor we met with and she continued to be a source of peace throughout the entire experience. She listened carefully to our vision and truly wanted to ensure that she told our story in the light that we wanted it to be displayed in. When the big day finally arrived, she came to the venue perfectly calm and prepared, which really stands out in the midst of so many fast paced, chaotic preparations. She managed to catch every important moment and somehow make our video even more spectacular than we expected. Our video has brought tears of joy to everyone who we have shared it with. We worked so hard to make our wedding day as beautiful as we were capable of, yet every special moment we planned seemed to fly by in seconds. Samantha was an amazing videographer! Not only did she provide great service, she also went above and beyond and got to know me and Peter and the love we share. She captured it beautifully. Better than I ever expected. She has a beautiful soul and is the nicest person I ever met. If u are looking for huge talent, excellent service and exceptional value at an extremely reasonable price, then look no further. I cannot speak more highly of the talent behind Pear & Thorn Productions. My wedding video came out better than I had ever imagined it would. Making the decision to have a videographer was very last minute for me because I just didn't have room in my budget. After reading and hearing that most brides number one regret is not having that video to look back on of that very special moment in time, made me decide to push my budget. And I can not even put into words how that was one of the best decisions I ever made for my wedding only preceded by the people that made this video happen. I absolutely loved working the Sam and Dave. They have a rare ability to capture moments - big and small - while remaining in the background and we couldn't be happier with our wedding video. They are very talented videographers who we are very thankful we hired to capture our special day. I would definitely recommend Pear & Thorn! They have a real knack for getting the details but also the overall story of the day and they captured our hearts and spirit perfectly - which is to say in our real / raw / happy way. Sam is a wonderful photographer! She arrived early, and was so patient with my 7 yr old daughter, 2 hyper dogs, and my horse! Not only was she patient, but she was kind, caring, and filled with great ideas! She made us feel like professional models, the prettiest ones in town =) She got pictures to us in a very short period of time, and I cried when I seen them!
