Working with Jessica made it possible for me to carry out my late father's wishes while honoring my own emotional struggles. What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people feel like their grief is welcome and accepted wholly. Especially during times of prolonged grief, individuals may feel like they are burdening friends and family members by talking about their struggles. Here, there is no timeline for your grief. I will meet you right where you are, on any given day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a chaplain and grief counselor in Seattle VA hospital and in youth incarceration settings prior to starting my own practice. While I appreciate offering services to those confined to these institutions, I wanted to expand to people anywhere seeking grief services.

Yes, I offer most of my client sessions on Zoom, with some grief counseling and death doula sessions in person in the Seattle, WA area.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We moved online, and it's been working well to have access to each other via video.
