Laughing Dog is the best place to take your dog for boarding and daycare. The owners and all of the employees are very caring and they take the time to get to know every dog, their likes, dislikes, and really understand each dog’s personality. They make the extra effort to make sure each dog is happy, safe and has fun while in their care. I started bringing my dog here many years ago. It was always a positive experience. Now I no longer have a dog, but my kids do and leave them with me when they are away. I have needed to go out of town on occasions and left their dogs at Laughing Dog Inn.Barbara and the staff are all very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Period.We were referred to “Laughing Dog Inn” by not one, but two friends when we were looking for a place for our 11-year old Shih-Tzu to stay while we went on vacation for 9 days. Barb is absolutely amazing. We did a puppy 1 class with our new puppy and learned tons. We rescued a second husky 3 weeks ago and have been applying the lessons we learned in the puppy 1 class. However, we live in an apartment and take them to dog parks and out for walks as much as possible, but it just wasn't enough. We took them to laughing dog inn for the doggy day care and they had the most amazing day. Our puppers have been sleeping solid after their dinner. Barb and team are awesome. Our GWP Lucy loves going to laughing dog so much, she practically climbs out the window of the truck when we turn on the highway a couple of miles away. We absolutely love Laughing Dog Inn! Our 8 month old chocolate lab Bergen can barely contain himself when our car pulls up and he realizes where we are. Everyone on the staff is kind and caring and they create a safe and fun environment for all the dogs. The owner, Barb Pensky genuinely loves dogs and it shows. We can't recommend Barb enough! She specializes in helping puppies get off to the best start and it was clear we were in good hands from the moment we met her. Her enthusiasm and vast understanding of puppy behavior really put us at ease. She made training fun for all of us! She clearly loves dogs and has a special connection w/ them. Barney's focus changed completely from a wild puppy to an alert and focused one when Barb started working w/ him.
