My husband and I travel a lot so while we were living in San Diego, we used Paws Play to take care of our dog and cat when we went away. They were awesome. Our pets were always well cared for and they gave us regular updates on how they were doing while we were gone which I very much appreciate. Erik and Jessica, and several of their employees, have watched our cat Fred more than a dozen times and we have always been thrilled with their service. They kept our keys safe and secure, which made for a hassle free experience every time. They once accommodated me with less than 24 hours notice on a busy weekend, and their prices were always reasonable. Paws Play is fantastic.  They are not just dog walkers, they become friends.  I had two older dogs and they looked after them wonderfully.  When the second one passed away Jessica, the owner of Paws Play, would call and check up on me and even let me come hang out with her while she was walking her dogs.  I didn't hesitate to call them again when I got my new dog.  I highly recommend them, what other dog walkers hold happy hours for their dog owners and walkers?! This service is wonderful!  We had planned a last minute overnight trip and the staff was able to accommodate our every need.  I was very impressed by not only the great care, but also the attention to detail!  We loved the updates of our pups, and felt that much more comforted that they were in good hands.  Will definitely use this service again! We have also started using their afternoon walking service. Another great service. They assign a primary dog walker so that the pups get used to seeing a familiar face. Jessica, Dana and Regina did an amazing job looking after our two little kitties. They were responsive, attentive, reliable and we trusted them implicitly to take care of our cats. Been using Paws Play since I moved here to San Diego, almost a year ago. I live by myself and travel frequently for business (and super rare 'fun' travel! ). I have 2 senior cats and PP does a great job: fast response when I need pet visits for the week, even SUPER last minute: I emailed them from the plane once because I completely forgot to request a visit! Even tho I left money on the counter for them :P Great communication during the week as well with updates and pics of my BAYBAHS!!!!VERY RELIABLE! Which is what I need as a single chick in this game called Life. Bummed I'm moving away, I hope to find someone as good as they have been!A+ Highly Recommend! The 5 stars says it all but I'll say more!  Jess and team have been walking our dogs for a few years now and they are amazing.  They are loving, kind, trustworthy, reliable, reasonable and much more.  I travel for work and when I receive texts with pictures of my "kids", my day is made!  They leave notes and so much more.  They don't have a ton of turnover and when they do, they only hire the best.  I can honestly say that other than very select family members, there is no one else that I would trust to take care of my "kids".  It's so fun to see my dogs waiting by the window watching for their buddy to take them for a stroll!  Love Paws Play!!! I have always been skeptical of hiring someone to take my dogs on a walk without me since my German Shepherd can be a bit of a terror with strangers. She had ZERO issues with Jess. Both of my dogs warmed up to her so fast, and they are so excited to see her when she comes over. It makes my long 12-13 hour shifts so much less stressful knowing that Jess will be around to hang out with the dogs while I'm at work. She sends me pictures of them on their walks, and even writes a little note in a daily journal to let me know how their walks went! I have been using Paws Play for a few years, and they have been such a life saver! They watch my two cats when I am on vacation, and the quality of care gives me great peace of mind while I am away. One of my favorite things is they send me a picture of my cats with a status update every day they come over to assure me that they are well. There was one time my flight got delayed coming back, and I needed them to stop by an extra time, and they made it work even last minute. You can tell they all care about what they do. :) More...

We could not be happier with Paws Play!!!  Our Jackson is a high maintenance dog so we were apprehensive to use a dog walker/sitter.  However, they have exceeded our expectations and Jackson loves his walks and overnights.  They go out of their way to provide the BEST care and give you updates/pictures etc...  They are also so accommodating with our schedule and we can't say enough wonderful things about them !!  Would highly recommend them without reservation for walking, sitting or whatever your needs.  Love 'em !!! I have been using Erik and Jessica's service for years for my dog Rocco. We love having the convenience of them taking Rocco out for a walk when we are stuck at work. Or even the occasional weekend away and we can't bring our best friend. We tried the pet hotels and ended up with high bills and things like kennel cough. Great dog walking service! We have worked with PawsPlay for a few months now for our 2 black labs, and they do such a great job.  Our dogs are a little tricky (one not great with people and one not great with other dogs), and they took the time to listen to my concerns and learned how to take care of both of them.  A huge relief because we know how hard it is to manage them.  All of the walkers that came to our house knew how to handle them, and when needed were just there to keep them company and give them a little break from their long days.  Very appreciated!  And I love their invoicing system. :) More...

Paws Play rocks! They're caring and conscientious. They keep in touch with you when out if town or at work, giving you updates as to how your pets are doing. Paws Play has been taking care of our dog for nearly two years for mid-day walks and weekend vacations.  Jessica and her staff have saved us in may spots where we can't get home when we had planned or unexpected scheduling made it impossible for us to cover our pup's walks.  Recently, Jessica was able to cover our mid-day walks last-minute while I was jury duty.  I was in denial I'd actually be picked, lesson learned there!  Anyhow, I am so glad that I have Paws Play to provide such great, reliable care for our dog - it certainly brings a peace of mind when life brings unexpected and stressful twists. I was new in town and needed a pet sitter as I travel for work. I had bad experiences in the past where I hired sitters and they didn't come over and take care of my 2 kitties. Once I came home and they had no food or water and an overflowing litter box. It was devastating. I was relieved to find Jessica when I moved to San Diego. She always texts me updates each time she does the pet sitting and keeps me posted on how my two babies are doing. I am grateful to have such a good pet sitting service now. I would highly recommend Paws Play to anyone looking for a caring pet service when you need one. Our kitties are kind of needy, for cats.  They love to play and interact with us, so when we were planning to be out of town for about a week, I thought I should have someone check up on them.  Jessica is very professional and reliable.  From the moment I met her, I knew our two kitties would be in good hands.  She sends text updates with pics of what they're up to and she sent us a Christmas card with the pics too!  So very thought ful.  Reasonable rates as well.  She came by a couple times for about $20/30 minutes.  That includes scooping our cat poop too, which I didn't expect.  It's so worth the money to have the peace of mind that our kitties are ok and not too lonely. Jessica is amazing! We have two frenchies that adore her! The minute they see her, they light up. It's very comforting to know that our dogs are in such good hands. Whether we're out of town for a few days, or the pups are getting their daily afternoon walk, we know that they're having a blast. I must also admit that our dogs are not the best walkers, but Jessica has been working with us as we've been training our dogs to walk better. Jessica is as professional as they come.  She came over for a pre-screening interview which was very complete and extremely detailed. She is the perfect dog walker. Extremely caring, attentive, and reliable. She cares about our dog Elwood like we do and it shows. Elwood is 13 years old and when he doesn't feel up to the full 30 minute walk, she will stay and play with him until time is up. She'll even text me to say how our walk went if I ask her to.We also recently had Jessica visit Elwood multiple times per day while we were away.  It was wonderful to be across the country and not worry for a second about him.
