I just had THE WORST experience at Paws For Elegance! They cancelled my appointment when the weather was bad, which I get, but when we finally rescheduled the best they could do was two months out.
I walk in today and they tell me that they do not have time for me. WHAT?! They could have called me so I didn’t schedule my day around taking her in!! They tried to give me 10% off the next appointment which couldn’t be scheduled for another month. No thank you. Looking for recommendations for a good reliable dog groomer that takes large breed dogs.

Sophie loves her haircuts from Paws for Elegance! We have tried other groomers, but they either did not do a good cut or our pup would come back traumatized (which was strange because normally nothing breaks her confidence). Great place to self wash your dog! They provide the shampoo, towels, brushes, grooming essentials, and blow dryers. They do offer grooming also. The owners take pride we can tell. The only thing we dont care for is they have their dog, which is laid back, roaming freely. Kinda strange if we bring ours in on a leash. Nonetheless, we love the cleanliness and continue to go back. Everything you need or want for a DIY dog wash! We took our 75-ish lb black lab for a wash and I was really impressed. They had several different shampoos depending on your dog's needs, issues. There was a separate wash for her face/head that was gentle in case it got in her eyes. They had rubber scrubby things to use with the shampoo, furminaters, towels, blow dryer, aprons, stuff to put on a cotton ball and wipe in their ears to dry them out, and more. We have been looking for a groomer in the Tualatin/Sherwood area and I think we finally found one!!! Our dog gets very nervous about going to the groomers from a bad experince she had a few years back. The staff did not seem to mind that she was nervous and took such good care of her. The groomers truly care for your furry family members and are quite talented for hard to cut long-haired pups. The environment is clean, prices reasonable and hours are flexible to fit my schedule. Paws for Elegance is my favorite place! The staff is always so cheery, warm, and friendly, and they always make time to accommodate my requests. I mostly use the self dog wash services, and it can't be beat! I've tried 4 other self wash businesses, and they aren't nearly as good. Paws for Elegance has great shampoo selections, ample fresh clean towels, dryers that work well, and other small conveniences like ear cleaners, brushes, aprons, etc. It's bright, clean, and conveniently located. Best of all, there's no mess in my bathroom with water splashes, soggy towels, and hairy drains. For just a few bucks, I leave the mess to them, and walk out with a clean, happy pup! More...
