This was the first time we've had to board our Scottish Terrier in a very long time. I was very nervous about it. I googled and googled boarding places and read LOTS of reviews. The one place that stood out to me was Paw Lofts. I honestly couldn't find anyone who had left a bad review. So I made a decision and called to make a reservation. The owner, Mike, answered the phone and dealt with all my questions and concerns. Trust me...there were quite a few, lol. At the end of the conversation I felt good about my decision and quit my desperate googling. My decision was a great one. When we dropped Hamish off, Mike came out to meet us and say hello. When we left I felt as comfortable as I possibly could dropping off my dog with a new caregiver for the first time. Hamish was there for 4 days and I called and asked for updates on two of those days. I loved that I got to talk to a person who actually knew what was going on with him and gave me a real update, not just a "Yes, he's great." He was new to group play situations and she told me honestly that he was still checking things out, but that he was doing well and starting to mix with the group. She actually said "He's working the room" and that made me laugh visualizing him walking around to different dogs and trying to figure out what was going on, and why he was now at this dog "party." :) I felt that I was talking to a caring person who took the time to talk to me and that made me feel much better. He had a great stay and did very well. He had a bath before we picked him up and he smelled great and was silky soft. I highly recommend Paw Lofts. I bring my mini schnauzer/poodle rescue here just to get his nails trimmed. He HATES getting his nails done, as in the vet recommended doggy Xanax the last time I had them do it during a visit. But at Paw Lofts he spends the whole day in daycare (grouped by size and activity level), and they dremel two or three claws until he gets antsy, then he goes back to daycare, and so on until they’re all done. Our first time boarding our German Shepherd Puppy was at Paw Lofts. We couldn't be more pleased with the excellent caring staff and all of the TLC they gave to our baby while we were away. Paw Lofts is my go-to puppy-sitter when my fiancé and I need to go out of town. I've boarded my pup here several times now and I trust them completely. They have cute little rooms for boarding and they welcome tours of the facility at any occasion. My dog Runa is always happy when we drop her off and pick her up and I know the Paw Loft employees treat her like they're one of their own. Great training, people who love dogs and are patient and passionate about them. In Summary: you need to bring your dog here! (See below for details) I was at Camp Bow Wow and really liked them, but there were some incidents with my dog, I.e trying to bite when they did his nails (also happened at pet smart), and herding other dogs in the play pin. I was told he couldn’t come back unless he got training and improved. After talking to a few animal behaviorists I was told there’s nothing wrong with my dog, so I started the search for a new doggie day care. I ended up finding Paw Lofts. I was immediately sold when I met their trainer Debbie and I told her about my complications at the other spot and she didn’t seem worried at all. We started going there immediately. We did weekly training sessions and 2x/week day care. They started him off in a small group and slowly built him up, ensuring he was always with a group of dogs that made him comfortable. When he gets too over worked, instead of blaming the dog, they just remove him from the situation and let him calm down. He is now in a large dog group and I am told he is doing very well! The training has helped us immensely at home and in public. People always compliment me on how good of a boy he is. Lastly, Paw Lofts always does his nails and they have said they have no issues with him, they just make sure to take it slowly so he doesn’t get scared. So, after comparing all of these experiences, I have felt the most cared for at Paw Lofts. I feel like their employees are happy and enjoy the company, they are always improving and my dog doesn’t ever seem to want to leave. More...

Took my cat here to have her claws trimmed, and they did an amazing job! Reasonably priced and very quick. I've had issues trying to do it myself, and I'm nervous to cut them too short. The woman who did the trim had no issues, so I was very impressed! We were in and out in just a few minutes - she even stayed later to do it, because I was racing over from work. More...

Boarded my little dog Scout here while I was away for several weeks. I was nervous at first because she is a rescue with D+ social skills. I didn't know if she would be miserable the whole time or get herself banned from the play yard on the first day. But the staff really gave her one-on-one attention and I'm pleased to see I notice the difference in her when we encounter other dogs on walks. I recently moved to west Dallas and was looking for a place on this side of town to take my dog, Fox to get groomed. I found Paw Lofts and thought I’ll try it out. Fox and I love his hair cuts! Excellent dog boarding and day care! The staff was the most accommodating to our late drop off and took great care of our pup Tux! He was able to play with other dogs in a very cool indoor play area, which made it easy for us to leave without him missing us! I’ve got a very high energy and social German Shepherd. I had to find a new daycare, and someone from work told me about Paw Lofts. I came unannounced for a tour and they were happy to show me around (very good sign). It was clean and spacious. I LOVED the fact that it was on my way to work AND their hours work perfectly for me. 6am-7pm. I had never seen another daycare with such great hours. I am hyper-vigilant about who cares for my furry angel. I feel like he is in good hands there. He is always tired when he comes home, and it’s reassuring that the staff knows him personally and can talk to me about funny things he does when I pick him up since they are actually paying attention to the dogs and get to know them. I was very satisfied with my experience. The staff were friendly and re-assured me that my cat would be in good hands. I was a bit apprehensive boarding my cat as I’d never boarded him before and I wasn’t sure how he’d handle it. Paw Lofts is the best dog sitting / boarding Dallas has. As a dog mom/dad it can be scary trying to find someone you can trust will take great care of your fur baby, and Paw Lofts does just that. Amazing place. We use Paw Lofts for daycare. We took our dog to a different daycare for a trial day, which was absolutely horrendous so I'm pleased we found Paw Lofts. They're great at catering to each dogs personality and making sure they're well cared for and never overwhelmed. Great place! My dog is 7 years old and has never been boarded before. I was going on a business trip and was apprehensive about leaving him with strangers. On a recommendation I tried paw lofts. When I pulled up, both the dog and I were stressed. He hurt his tail and was acting all crazy and I had a million things to do before I left in 2 hours. I entered to a warm greeting and they quickly assessed the situation. They immediately had an employee come down and take my dog to a room so that he could calm down. Then they calmed me down. Registering him for his stay took about 10 min. And I was on my way. That night, sitting in my hotel room, I felt horrible for leaving my pet. So I called. They had exact notes on how he interacted with the other dogs as well as when he ate and how much he ate. They started him out in a group of 4 dogs and said that they would try him in the general population tomorrow and see how he reacts. The owners were very thorough and they took great care of my furry friend. When I came to pick him up the owners recognized me as soon as I walked in the door. Amazing because they only met me once for 10 min and they knew who I was and who my dog was. They got my dogs stuff (which they had carefully labeled all of) and they brought out to me one happy, calm and worn out pup. He was so worn out from all of the playing and activities that he came home and slept through to the next day. I would highly reccommend this place for your furry friend. More...

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was super impressed with this place. Very clean. Open early. All the staff I’ve encountered have been really great and friendly. I have only taken my baby here once. She is still a young shy puppy so I’m like a nervous new momma. They are very accommodating to any individualized needs and watched her closely and eased her into the process instead of just throwing her in terrified with a bunch of other dogs. I got her first grooming that day too and they did such a great job! Exactly what I wanted. Mike, the owner is sooo nice and very quick to respond to any questions or needs you have.
