This is the only place I will board my cats. They're always so caring. They've taken great care of Polaris birth times I've boarded her. So much that she doesn't want to come home, lol. Right now my aunt's senior kitty, Jack, is with them. He's recovering from a pretty severe skin infection abs is depressed because she's in the hospital. They were so compassionate about his situation and I trust that he's getting the best care possible. I drove him 1.5 hours from Oroville because I know I don't have to worry about him while he's there. More...

From the moment you step foot in this place, you can tell these folks care about cats. We brought our guy Carl here for a week and they take the "no news is good news" approach and only reach out if there is a problem. Of course, you can call and check in on your cat any time. When we picked him up, we found him in good spirits and well cared for. They offered behavioral observations that indicated they had spent time alone with him personally, so that was excellent to hear. Each of the three employees on duty had a personal experience with/impression of Carl that they shared with me. All of these folks love cats and we will continue to utilize them in the future. I would highly recommend their services. More...

I'm so grateful for this place and the kind, loving humans who cared for my cat twice when I have been out of town. They really understand cats and go out of their way to make them feel at home. They were also really nice to me the first time I dropped my cat off - I was real nervous and sad to leave her and they were so sweet and understanding. I wish I could give more stars! More...

Absolutely adore this business. You can tell they are for the comfort of the cats, absolutely.Every time I have dropped of a cat this week, I have smiled at how cute the cat decorations are. I have booked a few reservations over the past few weeks for two separate cats. I had to extend a couple of the reservations each time, and was lucky to be able to have my request accommodated. One of the cats I've been reserving a room for is in the midst of finding his forever home, and each time I've dropped him off, he has been greeted with welcoming hellos and lots of love. I could go on, and I will summarize with this, if you are looking for a comfortable place to leave your feline friend while you're on a trip, away from home, or simply want your cat to get some extra loving - I highly recommend Pat's! It's been years, but I just thought of this place as I am looking for a dog hotel for my dog, wishing Pat's Place for Cats had one for dogs. My cat stayed here for 4.5 months while I transitioned to living abroad. Pat's Place took excellent care of her; she was well loved, had plenty of space to be a cat, and when she was picked up by a pet courier service and delivered to me in Scotland, she arrived very well-adjusted and happy. This place has been in business for decades for a reason. I even remember my mom taking her cats here back when Pat still owned the place. Sandy was an excellent person to take over and continued the legacy. More...

There is no one else I would trust my cat with. They make sure my cat is safe and happy. They have a fully fenced (including ceiling) outside area where cat can enjoy some fresh air too. I have been using Pat's for years and will continue coming here. Prices are reasonable and for a few extra dollars your cat can have a window or a suite. More...

We left our year old cat at Pat's for 10 days and he loved it. We did the pre-visit and found that they are truly cat loving people. I called to check on our cat while we were gone and they reassured me every time that he was doing fine and making friends. Sure enough when I arrived to pick him up, he was socializing and enjoying the "catio". My husband and I also noticed that our cat seemed a little depressed when we brought him home, like he was missing all of the company and attention he received. I've already booked his second stay at Pat's. More...

My family and I have been taking our cats to Pat's consistently for the last three years. I never worry about dropping Mr. Meows off to his comfy, spacious kitty condo, rather I worry how I'll be able separate him from his feline buddies and the elaborate climbing structures on the catio when it's time to be picked up! Daily rates are very affordable for the basic kitty condos (not to mention socialized kitties get plenty of roaming time, anyway), but I feel the peace of mind I get leaving Meows with people who genuinely look out for and care about him is priceless. Even the pickier cats in our family have warmed up to the vibrant environment and enjoy when staff pet and talk to them. Management always does their best to be accommodating with special requests (extra observation for senior/recovering cats, medicine dosages, special feeding instructions, and short notice reservations), which we could not be more grateful for when there is already so much stress involved in traveling. From short weekend trips to longer, international vacations, Pat's has been our go-to home away from home for all our cat-care needs. I love hearing updates about who's made new friends with whom, and about the progress our timid kitties have made by coming further out of their shells with each visit. This kitty luxury resort and the loving, attentive humans who run it have made my family's life and the lives of our feline friends so much easier. Here's to many more vacations and visits to come! We had a stellar experience at Pat's over spring break when they watched my tabby for nearly a week. The place is set up just for cats and it's clear that the staff there have a love for cats - they know every cat's name and their personalities! There are plenty of places for cats to climb and play and a nice "catio" so my cat could bask in the sunshine. Also cat treats! My cat stayed in a condo with a window so he could peer outside whenever he wanted. I emailed the owner and checked in on him and the owner responded in a timely manner and gave some great reports back about what he was doing and what he was enjoying - it was a nice personal touch and made us feel good about him being there while we were away. When I came to pick him up, he actually clung to the cat tree and didn't want to go home! We will definitely bring him back again. More...

Pats understands cats. Bucket and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff who truly care about his well-being. We love Pats. For strangers...they love your cats like they were their own..very caring and are sensitive to the level of 'spoiled' one exerts on their own feline friends. When we are out of town for more that a couple of days, we always book a 'room' at the Kitty Hotel. The only downside is similar to any pre-school...after a week, your cat comes home with an 'accent' from the other roommate cats...ha More...

This place just gets it. They fully embrace everything there is about being a crazy cat lover and epitomizes it in this boarding inn. Every staff member genuinely wanted to be there. I felt like I belonged. Variety of food choices, giant climbing tree, cute patio. They let the cats socialize amongst themselves, which I think is good because I want my furry friends to make more furry friends. This place maxed out around 75 cats for the July 4th weekend, and I expect it to be pretty popular all year round. So many beautiful breeds of cats to see!Responsive to emails and phone calls, and easy to make a reservation. On drop-off day: Fill basic forms, show proof of updated vaccines, and off they go. Prices vary depending on the type of room you select, but significantly more reasonable than the other boarding inn I used. Will gladly take Milo & Dixie here next time. More...

Pat's Place was recommended to me by a friend after I complained on Facebook about the horrifying prices that were quoted at the "pet hotel" attached to my veterinarian's office. To board ONE cat at the vet's pet hotel, I was looking at close to $50 per day (which would have included 10 minutes "petting time" and 10 minutes "out-of-the-cage time".) At Pat's Place, I was able to board both of my cats for $36/day total, and they were allowed free roam of the inside and the enclosed back patio for several hours per day. The "rooms" (cages) are much larger at Pat's Place than at the vet's hotel, and both of my cats were able to share a double-sized enclosure. The people working there were very nice, and all the cats roaming around seemed very happy. I'll definitely take my kitties back in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to friends. More...

I recently took my cat, Woodchuck, here for the first time. I was having to spend a little time in the hospital, and needed someone to look after my kitty for a while. I was anxious, because he doesn't usually do well in new settings, but he likes both people and other cats so I figured a place like Pat's would be good for him. I was still very anxious about how he would do, however. The folks at Pat's were excellent, from when we stopped by the look at the facility, to making short-term reservations, to answering my questions about how Woodchuck was doing. They even posted some photos, and he seemed to be fitting in real nice! He had an excellent time, and for a price that's only a few dollars a night higher than somewhere that leaves your cat in a cage almost all day every day, he got to wander and socialize and be happy.I will absolutely be bringing him back here for future boarding needs. I've been taking my year-old cat Diesel to Pat's since I got him last November. I chose this place because it's only about one-half mile from my home, but from reports of other owners bringing their cats from as far away as San Jose and the Bay Area, I know I really lucked out. The caring people and overall atmosphere here are definitely aimed at making sure Diesel is comfortable and happy in my absence. I look forward as much to taking him here for "his vacation" as I do setting out on my own! He absolutely LOVES it at Pat's, and like other owners have said, he seems reluctant to have me come take him home. I get reports on how well he "plays with others" and apparently he's allowed outside his "condo" quite often. He is a very inquisitive, outgoing and social cat so I know he always makes new friends when he visits. And knowing that one of the sister owners is trained as a veterinary assistant adds a bit of extra comfort when it comes to his overall care. I have often seen notes on condos there indicating that a cat needs a diabetes shot or other special medical treatment, and whereas Diesel has no need of these services, it's good to know they are available.I can't say enough good things about Pat's and just wish I had found it sooner!
