How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I'm Mr. Paru, a personal trainer with ISSA and retired military veteran with over 11 years of service. My fitness training comes from my time as an ARMY Master Fitness Trainer. I've learned how to create amazing physical transformations that are sustainable with healthy habits.
Now I'm passing that knowledge to my clients through virtual personal training sessions and in-person through:
Exercise Science and Leadership
Physical Fitness Assessment
Exercise Training Principle
Sports/Performance Nutrition
Kinesiology and Exercise Prescription
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
There is no secret. Just hard work and dedication.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing my clients achieve their fitness goals. The hard work they display gives me pride and joy knowing I’m helping them achieve the desired goal.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I originally launched Paru Fitness part-time and later realized I had two herniated disks in my back and could not approach a traditional work life.
That's when I turned to fitness to improve my injury and help others achieve the same results.
As my own boss, I'm free to put my clients' needs above everything else. I have the freedom to adjust the program to help you achieve your unique goals.
Every session is dedicated to creating the experience I'd want as a fitness client.
