First and foremost, the crew is absolutely one of the friendliest, customer service oriented bunches I have experienced in a while. The Kitchen team operated as exactly that a team and I appreciate the ability to execute in an open view kitchen. Now… The food.. hooo wee… I love a smaller menu that gets proper attention. The Hennessy Wings ( recommended by a member of the band playing downstairs thanks Matt) rival any from the big chain places… no chicken little here… The Burger is real as it gets. They got the right idea on sides as well… enough for two . I hope they are able to expand enough to team up with DFR Room and have table service during the shows. Oh this place! Down in the basement level which is automatically cozy, Papa L. E. W. s also has a huge live music area next to the dining area, so the music is right there with you. Menu is small, but everything we ordered was amazing as advertised by a couple we met on the sidewalk who’d just finished eating. We had 3 of the burgers, mine was super fantastic with Mac and cheese on top, with a really great sauce…. The others were happy with their Carolina Burger, the Cowboy Burger or the Fungi Burger. Huge dishes of fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries for only 5.00 each were excellent. We live in the Spartanburg area, so coming to Brevard is just a short trip…we’ll be back for sure! More...

I passed it up the first time, so I looked for the address. It's like a basement setting because you have to walk down some steps from the sidewalk. It is nicely setup and inviting atmosphere. What’s your signature dish?
Pistachio encrusted Halibut with a pea and ricotta puree, creamy mushroom and pea risotto, and seasoned grilled asparagus.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I talk with the client to see if they already have a menu in mind, or specific items they would like. If not, I get a feel for what the clients like and create a menu catered to their specific palete.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love the most about being a chef, is the happiness on someone's face after eating a satisfied meal that I have prepared.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Cooking is in my blood. My great grandmother, grandmother, and mother were all cooks in the industry.

I cook with my heart and soul, with a true passion for my craft. I am very detailed oriented, organized and professional.
