Greaf atmosphere. The instructor Lindsey's was fun and inviting. She explained each step and gave alternative ideas on how to create shapes. I used to attend Wine and Canvas Minneapolis but since they closed down it has been hard to find another painting spot that had the same vibe. I think my search is finally over. I love PWAT... but I've definitely learned my lesson on what locations I like best. We usually do the Rochester Hills location which is fun. Not as big as some of the other ones, but I've always had a good time and been really comfortable with my painting experience at that location. My cousins and I recently went to the Ferndale location (our second time there), and it will probably be our last for a really long time, if ever. After a not-so-fun time at the Ferndale location the day before, I signed up for a different Disney painting the next day at the Roseville location with Emily and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! They pre-outlined the shapes on the canvas for everyone. Kept track of everyone that was coming in and delayed the class from starting for a bit waiting for a couple people. They played Disney movie songs while we all painted a Disney movie picture. Both her and her assistant, A'Janae, interacted with the customers, got involved in the conversation when everyone was talking about one Disney movie or another, etc. Both instructors we ready and able to help, and would even refill paint without the person asking because they noticed it first. Emily was very patient, and explained her techniques and brush strokes slowly and clearly. Suggested we practice on our napkins or plates to make sure we understood. They weren't in a hurry to rush everyone out of the door. They stuck around and took pictures of the seperate groups that were there. I came here last night with my husband. It's a great location for us and there are lots of places near by if you want dinner before. It was a smaller group due to weather but still fun. There were two instructors and I purchased our tickets online beforehand. They offer a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as candy and snacks. I didn't purchase anything so I don't know how the cost was. Nat was instructing and I thought she did a great job, fun, helpful and inventive. I'm not very artistic but it was still a great time. There was another room in back so it looks like they could have 2 sessions going at the same time. It was a fun atmosphere and great music while relaxing and painting. This is a truly laid back, satisfying little activity in a great little setting.The instructor was very clear and helpful and truly no prior painting experience is needed. It's "Paint by numbers" for grownups, only no numbers are needed. There is a full bar, reasonably priced. You can reserve for a group as we did for work or come to open public sessions. At the website you can check out what you would like to paint before you go. You are encouraged to add your own touches as desired/inspired.There are other venues for this kind of panting, like Wine and Canvas, which is held in various bar/restaurants. What's nice about this though is you have a dedicated space, with no gawkers so it's freeing if you're shy about painting.Yes you can create art, try it and see. More...

Thank you for making our paint night fun! The staff were friendly and fun to work with! At the end of the night, we left with beauitful paintings, each unique in there own way. You don't have to be great at art because the staff will do everything step by step. We didn't feel rushed and was able to finish and tweak our paintings as we wanted. It was a lot of fun and Katie was so nice and her assistant! I just wanted to give an extra star cause me and my date was a little late and they waited for us which meant a lot! Only negative thing I can say is I had been trying to call to ask them what would happen if we were late and no one answered I tried calling for at least 2 hours. But its really loud in there cause the bigger classes seem to be held in the front so they probably didn't hear the phone ring. Also if you end up going this location doesn't have its own alcohol or cups so BYOB and BYOC (bring yo own cups!) but awesome night! Definitely want to go back! More...

I have a special needs son & I tried doing t his before with him. The girl would not even come over to help us. Very upset.
Then when this one on 12mile & Gratiot open I thought well I will try this one more time & I'm glad I did the class to did the the map of Michigan that said Home. The Instructor was great She had a assistant that was very kind and helpful with my son. Will be back again to do another project with him hope you keep the good staff that you have their they are very kind & friendly

I went to the Roseville location on 07/6/18 with my family and I must say that with it being there first time going everyone really enjoyed it.
My instructor was (Selena) who was very detailed, fun, and very helpful. She helped us with parts that we felt was difficult throughout our painting. Selena came off stage to assist us with her pleasant attitude to help our paintings with the cute little touches that was needed. I Love my portrait and definitely will get it framed. And I can't forget (Mary) at the front desk who assisted our class and she too was there to make sure we didn't need anything.
I definitely would be returning there and would recommend this location.
Thank you Ladies for making my family feel so comfortable and welcomed.

I enjoyed myself even though we were rushed.... I actually booked at this location because it was close to my home and most of my guest. Only down fall to this was the class was over before my time. We were rushed and some didn't get to finish painting. We were told to come back Tuesday � why when we were NOT able to finish our session. I believe you are allowed to stay 30 mins over to fellowship but was told another class was coming in. How so... when our party wasn't over yet. But Anthony explained why and it made more sense why we were rushed. I don't think you should over book parties like that .... you should want the BEST customer experience at all times. I was advised to contact manager but I probably will just book at another location next time. More...

I have been to this location several times. Every time I have been here, it was a 2 hour class, as stated. People need to understand that a 2 hour class will be a little quicker. I have always had good instructors, they have been helpful when needed. I have scheduled a private event here and I have no worries. I have been to the PWAT in Ferndale and was not very happy with that location. They rushed, was very crowded and very loud. I enjoy the Roseville location much better. More...
