Padre Canyon Foods catered a day-after-the-wedding/Mother’s Day brunch for my husband and I in May 2108 at The Johnny Miller House at Entrada, for 40-50 guests. Working with Chef Tracey was a delight from start to finish. She is a lovely human being and a great chef and organizer! The menu she came up with was delicious and varied and catered for everyone, from those who could stay and graze to those who had to grab and go. Fabulous, creative salads, pastries, juices and meat/egg dishes. Her team made that brunch run so smoothly and cleaned everything up afterwards, leaving my husband and I able to enjoy precious time with our guests. Many guest complimented the food. WOW! I have been to a brunch this company caters with IG Winery multiple times and they ALWAYS deliver! There is always a new menu with new flavors. They provide a typed out menu for you to keep, the option to opt in to receive emails about their upcoming events, and have a fun, friendly, and VERY informative staff.I am so happy to say that I love the food Padre Canyon Foods provides so much that they are going to cater my engagement party June 16th! While creating my menu, they even asked about special dietary needs so they can cater to my keto and vegan guests! Beyond thankful to find this company! More...

What’s your signature dish?
Our culinary team has an array of specialties from Southern Home Cooking, Pan Asian Fusion through Traditional French and Italian. We make our own soups, pastries, and desserts in addition to salads and entrees. We get a lot of requests for our Home Made Pop Tarts.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our clients can experience our Look Book to get a sense of our menu creativity. Our reservation group will then work to match our client's tastes with the right chef on our team. We then create a get together to consult with the chef for a menu that suits the client's event and budget. For large events, we create tasting opportunities and sample menus.
What do you love most about your job?
Our team brings great organization and professional service to each event. When an event runs with seamless service, timing, and taste, and the client is truly wowed, it's an amazing feeling of success for the whole team. A lot of high fives discretely in the kitchen.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We need more access to great culinary services in our area. We have created a group of chefs and services that allow individual culinary professionals to really shine and specialize. We think every culinary voice should have an opportunity outside of the confines of a restaurant.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a true culinary experience. Every meal is unique and sourced just for you. It takes more time and effort but we think you are worth it.
