I had some work done with Outsidedown Productions and Jef did a wonderful job,very pleased. We had a lot of VHS takes through the years of our grandchildren when they where small. He converted them onto DVD’s for me. We watched them and were so happy to see all the memories. I had a lot of cassettes we played in the car, but now cars don’t have them in anymore. Excellent quality conversions. Jef converted six old, locally created, historical interview(s) VHS tapes to high definition DVDs. He cleaned up the audio and reduced some rough parts of the original programs. Jef communicated regularly during his efforts converting the six tapes. What do you love most about your job?
I really like serving my customers by doing my very best work at a high standard and for reasonable prices. Doing something I really enjoy makes this a dream job for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been in rock bands since I was a teenager. Many of the services I now offer were things I needed back then, but often could not afford, or I was not happy with the results I was getting when I did purchase them. I began doing audio/video and graphic arts for myself and the bands I belonged to. Eventually, friends and family had me doing projects for them. I started to operate my studio as a business 'on the side'. After I had some more years of experience, I decided that I wanted to start an official business and take the whole thing to the next level. I was hoping to make a living at doing something I have an aptitude for, and feel passionate about. I opened Outsidedown Productions in 2015.
Why should our clients choose you?
I do not like the 'one size fits all' approach. The projects I do are completely customized to a customer's needs, desires, and budget. Most of my services are not cheap, but I am able to keep costs down for customers that want something simple, but with a high level of quality. For customers that have specific needs or goals, and a larger budget, there is no limit to the complexity a project can take on. The process is very flexible. I can often give a very accurate quote if I know the detail parameters of a proposed project. I will also meet personally with potential customers or have a detailed phone conversation. The personal touch is very important for me. I want my customers to feel as though they can ask me anything, and that I have their trust.
