Oh my goodness I could go on and on about how amazing a job they did and how extremely impressed I am with their quality of work! I would absolutely recommend using them to anyone who loves their pets. Johana and her partner were absolutely amazing! When they got stuck in traffic they made sure to keep me updated and let me know with plenty of time. Our home can be quite difficult to find, and they managed to find it and park conveniently off to the side of our driveway without my even having to ask. My baby is getting a bit older and can sometimes have trouble getting in and out of cars, and Johana partner helped him in and out every time. They made sure to ask me exactly what we wanted and needed for Jax and they did such an amazing job executing it all!! Jax has been to a lot of groomers over the years living in WA, FL and all over Nor & So Cal; and I have to say that they are amongst the best groomers we've ever been to! Very often his paw pads will get missed or glossed over, but they did such an amazing job on them they're just as smooth as they were when he was a puppy. Great communication and service. Zoe bonded quickly and was so gentle with our puppy. She approached her calmly and made her first experience a pleasant one. My groomer never showed up. He kept texting me if he could come sooner (we had a 9:00 pm appointment), and when I finally said "now works" (around 7:00 pm) he canceled my appointment. He claimed he never heard from me, but I responded to his texts and we already had a standing appointment. After we tried to rectify the situation and book for the next day, he told me his cutting machine was broken and that the onus is on me to find a pet groomer with a working cutter. If his machine is broken, he should report that to his superior and get it repaired. It is not on the customer to seek someone whose machine works. I am disappointed because there are so many good reviews of this business, but my experience was very poor as my pup never got to even experience the grooming. More...

The groomer texted 45 minutes before the appointment to say she wasn't able to come due to a sick child, which I completely understand.  However, there was no immediate attempt to get another groomer here.  I took the day off to be home.  I immediately asked when I could reschedule and two hours later I had to inquire again. Luiz the groomer cut my pets hair and in the middle of the grooming said he could not continue unless my pet was calm. He treated my dog like a soft toy and not once he tried talking to my dog. Luciano & Djeanne were very warm, welcoming, & professional. They arrived on time and introduced themselves. They were calm and patient with our vocally protective pooch. Our Australian Labradoodle, Mazzy had gone awhile since her last grooming appointment (been impossible to book elsewhere) and had acquired a bit of matting. We knew she'd likely need to be shaved. Luciano & Djeanne did an excellent job cleaning Mazzy up and even shared with us some at-home grooming recommendations. She smells delightful!Having their van just out front was incredibly convenient and provided peace of mind. My husband and I agreed that it was so nice to know she wasn't being crated, left unattended, or exposed to other anxious dogs in a crowded grooming facility and that she was receiving direct one on one attention. Juliana was terrific! Our mini Bernedoodle puppy, Chester, was a challenge: tight tangles were over much of his body, and it was his first professional grooming experience. When I tried to trim or comb him, we would wiggle and twist away, so we expected that he'd behave similarly with a trainer. Honestly, we didn't have much help that anyone would have much success. WELL! Chester took to Juliana immediately, and her confidence gave us confidence as well. She picked him up and disappeared with him in her grooming truck. I had a terrible experience with this company. First, I made an appointment online. I received an email confirmation as well as 24-hour and 1-hour until my appointment emails. The groomer NEVER showed up. I finally got a hold of the company the next day (not easy to get a human) and they sent a different groomer. The haircut is the worst my dog has ever received. I am actually horrified. I have a toy poodle who I get cut in the "teddy bear" look. Areas like his back that should be cut even are uneven. His face is not groomer correctly at all. Erwin and the second employee (didn't catch his name) were great! They arrived early and let me know I could bring her down early or wait until the actual appointment time. Erwin arriving early really fit in great with my work schedule - and also, when does that ever happen? It's usually the other way around (late)! They were waiting right outside and were very professional and friendly. Because it was a two man job, and my puppy has very short fur, they finished in less than an hour, but, they didn't skip out on quality. I booked an appointment for grooming with this company. This would have been the first time I did mobile grooming, but because my schedule has been heating up due to the end of the year, I figured I should try it and see if it would be beneficial. On the day of my appointment the groomer called me roughly 15 min. Before the appointment and said he would not be able to make it on time because he was currently across the bridge and was currently still 30 min. away from being done with the dog he was working on. That was upsetting because how are you still working on another dog, across the bridge, when you knew you had to be here at a certain time?Fine. I didn't fuss. I know things happen despite how unprofessional it appeared. He said he or another rep would call me the next day to reschedule. I said that would be fine to do and we hung up. At this very present moment, I have still not received not one call, txt, email, bird call etc. from this company to reschedule or to apologize. I was going to review about how horrible even scheduling an appointment was, but you know what - i appreciate all the unfortunate events that supposedly happened to my groomer because after reading the reviews on Yelp, the cancellations and reschedules essentially saved me even more heartache from any emergency vet bill. Long story short, i was bitter when my first appointment got canceled. My dog died two weeks later and it would've been nice to give him the dignity he deserved by at least getting groomed at home. What people don't understand is these "dogs" are not just "dogs". They are our families. Most of them have a bigger place in our hearts than other family members. They might cause trouble, but they love - endlessly. So to these groomers, please just don't do this work - to do this work. Treat our dogs with the dignity they deserve and not haphazardly. Just because you operate with no windows to your grooming van doesn't mean karma doesnt see you. I'm posting a picture of my sweet boy, Junior because i want to put his face to my name. I had Pet outlet come to my apartment to groom my 12 year old Aussie who is not very mobile . Clodoveu showed up and immediately assessed my dogs situation and was extremely good with my old dog. He got him shaved and bathed which had to be done on the floor of his grooming vehicle and bathed outside due to my dogs lack of mobility . Taiga did an amazing job with our 14 year old Bichon/shitzhu mix who is usually very cautious around strangers. Skittle took to him right away! Skittle was matted and has lumps and growths, not an easy job but Taiga took him time and was very sweet and gentle! Skittle looks so cute with his fresh cut and I'm sure he feels lighter and happier!  I definitely recommend Taiga! Please do not in any circumstance bring your dog here! I came for a $80 grooming and nail clipping to a $800 emergency pet hospital bill! !  When my dog came out of the van he was not himself. He was delirious and breathing heavily. The groomer could not speak any English and I needed to get a translator to ask if he gave my dog anything. He looked like he was given something. Then his breathing was getting heavier and he looked like he could barely breathe. We had to take him to emergency vet hospital. After X-ray and bloodwork they see severe fluid in his lungs which could have been due to extreme pressure from being choked. The grooming company could not provide explanation, or is taking any responsibility. They said "that's what insurance is for, so they can do the investigation and you get reimbursed". Right now, I am praying my dog will make it through the night without an oxygen tank because even the hospital emergency rooms can't take him in. He is on a sedative to calm his breathing, antibiotics and will need more lab work tomorrow. Mind you, this is a 17 week old healthy German shepherd- we have not even taken him out because he is still waiting for his final round of vaccination. I even tried to cancel the appointment and let him know he is not fully vaccinated. I should have known he was sketchy when he said he can take him just with his 2 doses. Outlet Pet Grooming never honored my appointment today, 10 am. Outlet Pet Grooming Email Communication, 9:56 am, reflected 10 minutes for arrival. It is now 11:50 am. I had an appointment with Ervin today. And those guys destroyed my beautiful fluffy Samoyed. First of all the whole service was a torture. My dog returned home with blood on his jaws and terrible marks on his nose. And those marks were not dirt. I tried to clean it but it didn't help. I had no idea what they did to him. Before the service I gave them instructions that under no circumstances they should cut his fur. I explained that cutting of fur would ruin the dog and fur would never grow up again. And they cut huge bold spots on his back and legs but left a lot of knots. It's not only looks ugly but I have no idea how to protect my dog against overheating and sunburn now. Beautiful white coat not only gives Samoyeds their unforgettable appearance but also a crucial factor for their health. And I told them that but they simply didn't care. I know that the Bay Area has experienced labor shortage but why we should condemn to suffer those who love us unconditionally? Please if you care about your dog don't use this service! I gave them 25% tips and I would payed twice for their service if they wouldn't cut my dog. Today, Erwin, of Outlet Mobile Pet Grooming, took care of Smoosh, my 17 year-old pug. To start, he arrived on time. I noticed that my boy was immediately at ease in Erwin's arms. (He has been known to be pretty  cranky when he is being carried!) The door to the mobile salon was open so I decided to take a peek. Smoosh was in his glory. all soaped up, calm  and being gently steadied because of his weak legs. About an hour later he was returned to me, smelling heavenly, his fur soft and his nose nice and black and moist. For the next hour, his tail was wagging non-stop! The only reason I won't give it 5 stars, is it's a bit pricey. But I guess it's worth it if you don't have a lot of extra time and it's difficult to transport your pet. Luiz always does an awesome job with our two dogs that have different needs. The service is prompt and our pups are handled with love and care. Our corgi only needs a bath and brush and our terrier gets that and a haircut, and Luiz always returns them both looking beautiful. Last year we had a terrible grooming experience, for us and the dogs, and at local pet store chain. Lies, deceit and two dogs left shaken. So happy to make the change to Outlet Mobile Pet Grooming! This was my first experience with Outlet Mobile but it won't be my last.  The Groomers were punctual and polite.  They took great care of our 2 long-haired doxies.  The dogs are older and and weren't very enthusiastic about the the prospect of being groomed.  That said, when they were done my dogs were calm and definitely well cared for.  Their nails were expertly trimmed, their matted parts were gone and they smelled like and english garden (that's a good thing).  We will definitely use this company again.  I hope that everyone has as good an experience as I did. Not only was it frustrating that an hour before the scheduled time the groomer was supposed to arrive(his name is Sostene), he had to cancel because he was in Pittsburgh, CA apparently before my session and couldn't make it to Burlingame in time so he asked to reschedule for the following morning (I made the appointment a week in advance which is plenty of time to see a logistical challenge on the owner's end).  I was flexible and agreed to a 9:00am grooming the following day, but when that next morning appointment came, Sostene told me he would be 20 minutes late at 9:00am.  I said, Okay but was not happy about him being late after having to make time the previous day for a no show.After he was 40 minutes late (not the original 20 which was quoted) I requested an ETA and he said 15 more minutes...which was 55 minutes late for a 9:00am appointment.  Not okay.I told him to not bother coming at that point and I booked an appointment with a competitor company who also does mobile dog grooming...I'd say Sostene has poor time management and it's a shame because I would have been a new regular customer if his work was good.Have your groomers honor their time commitments and people's time please More...
