Our dog was very sick and they got us in right away and accommodated our schedule which is refreshing!! When it came time to have to put her down they gave us options and we came in a private entrance so we didn't have to walk through the main lobby all emotional.  We very much appreciated that!!

I took my dog to be groomed yesterday by a new dog groomer named Kaitlin. I outlined exactly how I wanted his hair cut and what I wanted shaved. I have had problems in the past taking him to other places and paying a ton of money to have him groomed, only to be extremely disappointed. Kaitlin did an excellent, exceptional job on Reno. He looks AMAZING! She did a remarkable job! I will be back to see her. Thank you Oswego Animal Hospital for only hiring the best. Your staff as a whole is the best. Shout out to the front desk ladies for always being helpful, sincere and professional. We've been taking our dogs here for over a year and half now. 3 surgeries, countless visits, and nail trim Thursdays. There have been very few bad experiences and those were due to paperwork or an unorganized checking in/out process, never animal care. Overall we love the staff here and my male dog loves all the attention he gets. Our female is afraid of the vet so someone comes in a room to do her nail trim. The last time someone came in and asked "if they could take Porter (my male) back so everyone could say hi!" More...

This animal Hospital is the best around! The vets here are very educated and kind! Other vets such as the VCA Aurora just want your money and take advantage of the fact that you love your pet. Here they care about you and your animals. She(Ill insert my vets name once i look at the med bottle)  did an exam on my one year old kitten and gave me a topical cream and antibiotics for 14 days for $75. This was incredibly affordable, and now I know I wont have to stress out if my animal is sick. You can take them here and have an exam done for $45 and have no additional charges added if you simply want to here the diagnosis! This is super handy if you worry any time your fur baby gets a little sick like I do. More...

I cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital. We have been using them for years and the staff has always been amazing. We are very regular visitors unfortunately but it’s amazing how many of the staff just truly care for the health and well being of our dogs and aren’t there just to collect a paycheck. We have no doubts anytime we need to bring our dogs in that they are under the best care possible. Thank you to the vets who always know the right solution to get our dogs through whatever they are going through and also to the staff for being so personable and helping us through any situation on hand. I brought my puppy here because our usual vet could not fit her in so they recommended this place because they take walk ins. It’s a bit further away for me, but wanted my puppy seen that day. I had to bring her back again on short notice and they took her also right away. The staff is very friendly and I was pleased with the pricing as well. I expected I was going to have to pay an arm and a leg for the vet visits, but it was very reasonable. I’ve now decided I will use them from now on for both my dogs. More...

We went to OAH for the first time this weekend to look at a cat we were hoping to adopt. The place is huge. There are 10+ examinations room and a very courteous staff who was eager to help us. We spent 30 minutes in their evaluation room playing with the cat and were rushed along. As far as expenses we felt they were more than fair as this cat was chipped, had all her shots, and we'll taken care of. We are thrilled with our new family member and also with OAH. More...

We LOVE Dr. Conrad and the staff at OAH! Dr. Conrad is an incredibly compassionate, intelligent and patient vet. Her love for the animals she cares for is resoundingly clear at every interaction starting with your pet’s first visit as she spends the time examining your pet on the floor gushing over them. We recently had to say goodbye to a beloved pet and Dr. Conrad and the staff literally did everything they could they could to make the day easier for us and our pet all the way up to delivering donut holes on the exam room floor as a final snack for him as we struggled through our goodbyes. We are so thankful we met Dr. Paulson at Oswego Animal Hospital! My brother is currently in the Airforce and we brought his sick cat in to OAH. Dr. Paulson has incredible work ethics, professionalism and kindness. The cat was in desperate need for surgery to remove a tumor and she walked us through every step before our cat's surgery. She is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain everything. I actually learned a lot from Dr. Paulson! We were nervous about the cat going in for surgery at 11 years old but knew we were in good hands with the doctor. The cat ended up doing extremely well and she's in incredible spirits post surgery! I’m new to the area and this animal hospital. I had to take my sick dog in. They were able to get her in quickly. Vet was very nice. Unfortunately, my dogs tummy was too full to see anything on the X-ray and we needed to have her come back the next day after she was empty. I didn’t need to make an appointment and I was nervous thinking we would have to wait. But they took us quickly and did the X-ray and ultrasound and found what we think was making her sick. Thankfully she just needed to pass what she ate. By the next day, my dog was feeling a little better. And to my surprise, the cost was reasonable. I would recommend based on the availability and convenient hours as well as friendly staff and reasonable prices. More...

I had to rush my dog in yesterday because of a severe ear injury. Even though my dog was bleeding heavily, they were extremely calm and informative. The doctor was in constant communication throughout the day, which greatly helped ease my anxiety. The price was very reasonable, and they were able to micro chip him and clean his teeth! I’m happy with the way my dog and I were treated during a very stressful day. I have taken all 3 of my dogs there for various reasons from routine care, to non-serious conditions to situations requiring immediate surgery. I have found everyone I've encountered there to be professional, welcoming, and very competent. Everything is explained in a calm, and compassionate manner, and the doctors are very quick to get a 2nd opinion from one of the other doctors if they have even the slightest doubt about their diagnosis. All pricing is VERY fair and reasonable, and is explained very carefully before services are rendered.
The facility is bright and very clean with ample seating in the waiting area to allow dogs that might be overly aggressive or fearful to have their space without endangering other pets. An added plus is their extended convenient hours and enough doctors on staff that last minute appointments are not a problem! I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this facility, staff or services! More...

We adopted a 3 year old cat and was told at that time he tested positive for FIV virus. He needed us more than ever because a lot of people are afraid to adopt cats with this. We knew his immune system is compromised so I was looking for a wellness plan so he could have the best care but was told over and over that he couldn't get it because of his pre-existing condition even the health insurance issued by the ASPCA turned him down. Then I found Oswego Animal Clinic! This is a clinic that truly believes that ALL pets deserve the very best health care they can give them. I loved Dr. Paulson she was extremely informative about his virus and confident he can live a long healthy life with us. I am truly grateful for this wonderful clinic and their caring staff. More...

The doctors, vet technicians and kennel staff are simply amazing here. As a member of a rescue group for giant breeds, I've visited Oswego Animal Hospital for various routine appointments, emergencies and procedures with my fosters. When my own adopted Great Dane Poseidon had unexpected severe complications after a surgery, he spent almost 2 months in the care of the most amazing people, who nursed him back to health and I got to bring him home. He was loved by the staff and everyone gave him snuggles each time he was boarding or attending doggie daycare. They were also there for me every step of the way, when I had to say my final goodbye to Poe. Each and every one one of the staff are wonderful. But Kaytlyn and David hold a special place in my heart, as they loved Poe as much as my kids and I did. Thank you! More...

I have been bringing my Weim's to OAH for years. The staff are awesome, always treating my dogs with respect and attention.
I have had good experiences with them vets.
Have been recently taking them to daycare and the staff is great. I have anxiety leaving my fur kids there and they go out of their way to check I them for me, they give report cards that let you know how your dog is getting along throughout the day.
